JD is leaving according to Facebook. Going back to Oz at end of season and Paul March has agreed terms.

Good luck to you and your family

A great servant of the game. Gave his all for Wakey in very trying times. Good luck Jason and thanks for all your efforts in the red, white and blue.

I'm disappointed to hear that JD is moving on; I think we probably all will be which shows what a good job he's been doing and the high regard in which he is held at Lawkholme. I wish him all the very best for his future back home in AUS and thank him for what he's done for our club and team. So next season it'll be time to get behind Marchy and cheer our Keighley team on towards further progress and success.

Gutted he's leaving us but wish him all the very best. I know he wanted to move back to Aus and given the reputation he has carved out from his time in England, I'm sure there will be no shortage of offers when he returns home.

Thanks for everything JD. Let's now use this as a catalyst to kick on for the rest of the season. Wouldn't it be nice to send him home with Cougars as GF winners. Dare to dream!!!!!

If it's true, he's been a "good un" in more ways than one and we'll miss him. All the best to him and his family.

But, as the saying goes - "the King is dead, long live the king"

Next season is far more important than this and we need to build on what we have and become a much more consistent side.

Very best wishes to JD and family in the future and I hope and trust we will see him again. It's been a great two years and he leave a fantastic legacy at Cougar Park. Shame we and Wakey fans can't give him a great send-off. So let's 'March On!' to 2013. I hear another March may be joining Cougars. Paul has an indoubted record wherever he has coached so the future looks good.

A class act on and off the pitch, the epitome of what values players and staff at our club should represent.

He will be a big loss to the club.

I have to commend the board in acting very quickly to get Paul March as a replacement, who has a proven track record with Hunslet. With him at the club already he will provide continuity and as soon as the season ends we can look forward to being able to recruit better players quickly.

All the best JD

Suggestion from Wildcasts site: for (probably) last home game of the season against Leigh (9th August) anyone wearing a Wildctst shirt gets in for a fiver. That should boost the attendance and give Wakey and Cougars fans a chance to give JD a great send-off at home.

Couldn't we perhaps have a Cougars v Wakefield friendly at Cougar Park as a kind of testimonial and a proper send-off for JD? Surely that would be great for both sets of fans.

That would be brilliant, and I'm sure every single Wakey fan who could attend would attend. Legend at Belle Vue and Cougar Park!

Rach, you may be in a position to know or to perhaps find out, do you think a Cougars v Wakefield friendly might be do-able?

I suspect a lot would depend on end of season play off situations in arranging a date for it.
