Where are all the Keighley fans who use this forum based?

I would assume most live within 15 minutes of the ground, but it would definitely be interesting to see how far away our fanbase extends to. Maybe there are dedicated fans who travel a long distance to watch our team every week?

Personally, I live in Crossroads which is only about 3 miles away from Lawkholme Lane.

Originally from sutton, 15 minute drive, but now live in Derby so 1h40 maybe. Thursday night took 3h30 but that included picking up my girlfriend from Sheffield who also watches keighley now.

That's great dedication from you and your girlfriend.

I wonder if there is anyone who travels even further than that?

I live in Oakworth so 10 mins I can be at the ground but interesting post this because when I was at the club and we started selling season tickets I was getting calls from areas such as Leeds, Bradford and further a field. I remember speaking to few people that were from derby.

The letters and e-mails for merchandise were interesting as well, we were getting asked to DVDs of games and shirts to Spain, Germany, Australia, Poland and many more.

Originally Keighley, then Silsden and now Skipton.

Was born in Bradford, grew up in Keighley (Beechcliffe) 10 minutes from Lawkholme Lane as it was then and before the bridge across the railway was built.

Moved to Thorne, had to watch Doncaster due to working most Saturday mornings.

Moved to Harrogate.

Moved to Bermuda and been here since 1968 but have never lost my love of the game and my affection for the Keighley club.

Was last in Keighley in Nov 2011 for a death in my family. Called by Cougar Park and had a great hour or so talking to the ladies in the admin and Jason Demetriou. They all couldn t have been more friendly. Good luck to the club. They seem to be consolidating in CC. Hope they go onwards and upwards.

Born in Haworth, now in Huddersfield, but work shifts in a call centre, so work every other Sunday anyway. Plus, being a non driver, its hard to get there anytime, and evening games are definitely out for getting home. So most of my support nowadays is via the internet, principally through here

Born and bred in Keighley , lived there for 40 years then moved to Burley in Wharfedale (t'other side of Ilkley), so , about 20 - 30 mins by car on a good run when i get a lift From 'ilkley cougar' or Mike S. or aout 2 hours by Train or bus (with the 'waiting about' connections on a Sunday !!! )

Oakworth, seems to be a hotbed, perhaps we could start a supporters club?

born at ingrow, Hainworth lane 1947, moved over to bracken bank way 1950.(terry holindrake) was our window cleaner,moved to leeds, (Bramley) 1n the 70s,supporting keighley/cougars since 1958...

Born in keighley in 79 but then moved to Twatt in the Orkney Islands. Still live in Twatt but regually visit Keighley and get to most home games.
