I think that without doubt the fans will get more behind the players than ever before and we have to adopt a siege mentality, we will suprise a few teams this season as we have shown we can match most teams.

I completely agree. We have to remember, hard though it might be, that we are Cougars Fans, nothing else, we dont care who the chairman is, and we will not be dragged down by the past. The players and coaching staff need the fans support now more than ever. The players and coaching staff have done nothing wrong, other than putting their faith and loyalty to the club. They have been let down so much by Neil Spencer. I remember very clearly how happy he was to claim the credit of last season. Much more vocal about it than Colin ever was. I really hope he walks away now. He can be a fan if thats what he wants, but in no way should he be on thst stage again, only to apologise and then leave. I hope people keep the faith, its about being fans of Keighley Cougars rlfc and not about how you feel about the management. It will be a very long season, but as a set of fans we unfortunately have been in bad positions before, we need to stick together, support the team, have beers with each other and the players, and enjoy what success we may have on a week to week basis.

Well, I'm a new supporter as of last season. I like the friendly atmosphere at the club, the way it's easy to get to now not just fans but staff and players, and I'll be sticking around. (I have to, bought my season ticket just before all the taxman stuff kicked off!)
This should be a good season, and I'll be getting to a few away games as well, this time round. And, I'm trying to persuade my cousin to come along.

On a previous topic someone said we should walk out when he speaks after games. Good idea we go to game we cheer the lads, after the match we have a beer and when he comes out to do a speech we all walk out! thats bigger than shouting abuse at him.

I've seen him at work. He's still up for it, give him a PM to arrange it.
