I am just wondering, how everyone who went to the meeting found it.

The two new people talked the talked. The answers seemed in the most part very good.
Liked what i heard about linking the younger players around town.
Glad to see that the Cubs are getting a look in now.
Gary talked well and did seem to be fan friendly. That is refreshing.

However i have a few reservations about the whole thing.

First of all, getting into SL at the next time around. No chance.

Now the other big problem i can see, is getting people to help.

The people who in the past would have given help freely, were noticeable by there absence on the night.

A lot of this is the treatment people have received in the past.

Will these people want to help again?
Will they think, sod off i am not falling for that again?
Will there come back if they think its the right thing to do?

I think the new board, have a hell of a lot of work to do. Convincing people that they are worth helping. There is a lot of history, that they are going to be left to deal with.

I thought you were going to make a stand if Spencer was still involved?

A few of the people who helped form KISA then CISA...I don't need to name names.

It was a sp turn out. I think they need to do some right bridge building.

Mr Spencer has no official role at the club so what was point of that comment. Apart from that I also referred to bridges being built.

It was said on the night by Helen that anyone interested should give names to Hannah, either individuals do it or not its a personal choice the past in my view whilst not forgotten should be put to one side and as the club is starting afresh so should folks approach.

He's still on the board isn't he?

As far as I know Mr Spencer is not on the board because after taking the club to the abyss or more commonly known as administration he has to apply to rfl as a fit and proper person(there is a seperate topic on this) and as yet not been accepted, hopefully for sake of club I hope it is not.

The new board are under no obligation to have anyone on the board they do not want, hopefully the thoughts and feeling of the fans will be taken into account on this particular point.

After the meeting I am quite happy with what was said.

because unless a clean break is made, then they wont be moving forward.

one more question, how can you be totally happy with the new board, when they're even considering the possibility?

And another thing, I dont believe the explanation of the debt we were given.

The old club had an existing liability for circa £100,000.

AJ Cougar, i thought there would have been more people there at the q &a. It was not just a bad night weather
wise but also wrong day of the week. A lot of people have to get up early for work.
Friday night would have been better.
As someone said to me "a lot of people seem to forget if it had not been for Neil Spencer there would not have been a Keighley Cougars" What do you think?
