| According to my calculations, we are now in the 31st position of a combined table of all teams which numbers 37.
Our attendances have never been so low (but it is the same throughout League 1). Is this a cunning plan by the RFL to ensure the demise of long-established Clubs for the benefit of EXPANSION?
Who knows?
But, back to the main point:
We have never been kept in the dark for so long.
Where is our Coach and why doesn't he comment on his team selection and results?
Our CURRENT SQUAD is HIS TEAM.
So what will happen in the future?
When will HIS TEAM start winning again?
If they fail to will, 'Administration' be the next step?
Better not pass any comments ....... but:
Who knows?
One thing is certain from recent developments: The ever-dwindling band of our faithful supporters will be the last to know.

| I believe its out of 39 teams (12/12/15), but otherwise depressingly correct

How the heck can 'expansion' and the demise of a once great club be blamed on the RFL ? The people responsable for the mess you find yourselves in is primarily club based ? Clubs are responsable for their own affairs to a fair extent though I suppose wheeling out the old 'blame the RFL' excuse for the ineptitude of the guilty parties is again the easy option.

Oh please come on not that old chestnut again .Cant have it both ways - we've had folk on here slating the standards in the lower half of championship one but then suddenly the tough times experienced by a 'heartland' club is explained away by the RFL favoring and financially supporting these newer clubs over old. Really if all these' untold riches 'were being offered to the newer clubs do you think they would be struggling as they are , seriously ????
The South Wales , Skolars , Hemel , Coventry get NO extra help from the RFL (cant comment on Toulouse or Toronto) ...end of ....

| The reason the RFL are blamed whenever a club at our level gets into trouble is as follows.
The RFL are responsible for the state of the game at our level although not for the problems at the Cougars. This is down to poor leadership (on and off the field)
The RFL's record towards the semi professional game since the beginning of Super League has been disgraceful.
Making Bad decision after bad decision.
Although we have finally got promotion and relegation back we still have to suffer duel registration.
The RFL needs to make our competitions fair and meaningful which would give the clubs a chance to attract new fans and keep the current ones

| Rochdale and Barrow have to abide by the same RFL rules a regs but they seem to be doing ok. Blaming the RFL is the answer to everything for many it seems.

Rochdale have dual registration with Warrington which as benefited a great deal of their results this season. However, Barrow I believe have gone it alone, and well done to them. I hope they get promoted, they very much deserve it! Sajunien, 1 swallow doesn't make a Summer!
I could go on about the RFL dabacles towards the cougars in seasons 1994-95 and 2013-14 but that won't change anything, unfortunately we have to live with these ridiculous decisions!

| For the Toulouse players the 'big one' is the next home game against Rochdale. They believe they have a big point to prove especially after some of the comments from Killshaw before and after the previous meeting though I think the most entertaining game will be the last game of the 8s against Barrow. They are hitting form at the right time and seem to be the team to beat.
No real RL fan likes to see a household name like Keighley struggling so good luck to them. It looks like changes are required but will the club be big enough to make the tough decisions ?

Rochdale? They've done pretty well this season with their Wolves in the team but look at last Sunday. They had no Wolves and struggled to beat 12 man Cougars - complete with our extremely porous defence. This illustrates the unfair advantages brought about by the DR system, and don't forget that for every Wolf who plays for Rochdale, a real Hornet has to make way and sit out. This system was brought in specifically to be of benefit to Super League clubs who don't fancy paying for reserve teams; any perceived benefit to clubs outside Super League is merely an afterthought. This must end.
-------
As far as we are concerned, the question is asked as to how low we can go. Well, a quick look at the current league table shows that our 'best team in years' (on paper obviously) has achieved a position whereby the only clubs below us in the entire rugby league structure are the 'expansion' teams. A very sorry state of affairs indeed. The end is nigh for Paul March and this is the silver lining in our current situation; I for one am heartily sick of watching the one-up rugby and inept defence to which we have been treated for the past three years. Time for a new broom to sweep clean.

| Quite agree about DR but clubs will continue to use (abuse ?) the system as long as it's within the rules. DR should, if at all be used as it was previously intended and that is for the 'bludgeoining' (can't think of the correct word !) of youngsters who are unable to get a place in the first team. Playing someone like Lineham and/or Penny is not in the spirit of the rule IMO.I'm all for season-long loans though i'm sure there are people about who don't like that either. Obviously one way forward is to encourage academies, like the one at Toulouse for example though this costs money which is in short supply nowadays within the RL world.

| Well, let's go back to the beginning .... well not quite: Just 'Superleague'.
Question: What do we have? The Cougars are denied rightful access to Superleague (and by which organisation?)
Answer: The RFL (with Murdoch and SKY in the background).
Question: What happened then?
Answer: Terrestrial television broadcasting rights to league games were denied and all rights to broadcast league games in the lower division (and now 'divisions') were denied (unless SKY approved).
Result: If you don't freely-broadcast a brilliant game, at whatever level, then you lose the support (wherever it might be).
Question: What happens next?
Answer: Concentrate on: 'Summer Rugby' (and this is where I have always disagreed with Mike Smith). Summer Rugby (for Murdoch) is OK for Superleague but, when access to Superleague is denied, Mike's vision of BBQ's etc (which were Mike's dream) are denied because the number of supporters in the Championship and now League 1 simply cannot (unfortunately) support Mike's dream.
Question: What is my solution?
Answer: It is obvious to a blind man that the lower divisions need to return to playing in winter (assuming that we still have a winter as a result of 'climate change').
Question: How can either 'Rach' of 'Guess Who' continue to support a failed organisation (by which I mean the RFL)? You ask me for reasons so I believe that you should also provide reasons for your comments.
Question: How can, with reduced central funding from the RFL, combined with ever-reducing so-called 'crowds' (was it 293 last week?) can any semi-professional club continue to exist?
Question: How can you justify the RFL's 'expansion programme' when a level playing-field does not exist? (Check the funding for Toulouse and Toronto and compare that with the funding for Championship 1 Clubs)
Answer: I'll await yours!
Question: What happens next?
Answer: 'Liquidation' with more Clubs to follow. Check York and now Sheffield.
Question: So what do the RFL do?
Answer: S** all!
Question: 'Dual Registration': Like it or not, it is yet another reason why the RFL is allowing a 'sloping' as opposed to a 'level' playing field. Look at what happened to us against Doncaster. We were hammered by two Superleague players who simply walked through our so-called 'defence'. What will happen tomorrow?
Answer: The RFL don't care. Just as they didn't when ineligible players played against us and no action was taken. They are simply interested in their expenses-paid trips to France and Canada and getting fatter by the day instead of looking after the founding Clubs in the north.
I rest my case but look forward to your comprehensive responses to my questions and answers.
