We showed some real character today, the lads should be proud of themselves.
The ref was awful - not just because he made dodgy decisions against us, he did the same against Fax. But I bet the players didn't know what was going on half the time; one minute he'd let things go, then he'd blow up for the same offence. One minute Fax got away with murder, then we did. It spoilt what should have been, and nearly was, a great game of rugby league. And it also turned two sets of normally mutually appreciative fans against each other.
If I had a pub, he'd be banned.

Didn,t see the game fully - some of us were too busy serving the thirsty masses....BUT

I really hate having a pop at the officials , knowing it really is a tough job and hey someone has to do it ....BUT

From the bits I did see the consistency in decisions has really got to be improved from the Ref and his hoppos , we are getting calls ON BOTH SIDES that are clearly inaccurate and wrong enough to change the outcome of the match ...today 90% of the Cougar park Crowd both, Cougars and Fax ,could see instances when that was the case ...

While the speed and technicality of the game from a playing perspective has increased over the past few seasons , at all levels of not just the Super Dooper League ,but also the Championship and Championship level , but the ability of the officials appears not to have kept pace with this improvement ...

What yesterday proved that once again we can perform at a high level for 80 minutes and if we can produce the same tenacity against the beagles we can and will beat them.

For those at club including players heads up it was great performance and another like this will get the win. I will find out who the ref is and make sure they have been to specsavers

A lot of this will be down to how much the Fax game took out of them not just physically but mentally.

The heat for a start will have taken a huge amount out of them.

Then there was the manner of how we lost. The body language at the end of the game was the worst that I've seen all season they looked crushed.

If we can play like we did against Fax or Whitehaven for that matter we will win.

For anyone interesed I just looked at the odds on Skybet. They must have just looked at the table not considering out points deduction. Sheffield are 28/1 on to win and we are 8/1. Theyre are ridiculously good odds for us. Gotta be worth a couple of your hard earned pounds.
