| Before it's too late and we spend another season in this league.
Regarding today's game, March states on the Cougars website:
"It's disappointing for me that were facing the Skolars on Saturday, as I feel we need a competitive game to really get the lads going ahead of the Cup final in Blackpool and we're not getting that playing these Southern sides"
Well March, was today's game competitive enough for you?
Lack of respect of the competition
Poor coaching
The best is yet to come?
This is the strongest squad we've had in 10 - 15 years - Fawcett and March
It only gets tougher this season from here on in!
Roll on York twice, Barrow, Rochdale, Toulouse, Newcastle, North Wales

| I don't know how much investment the directors have in the club but if they value stop the mates act and protect it because Paul March will never get us there and no one else for that matter

| One thing we can say about the team under Marchy.
It has been consistently, inconsistent

| Enough is ENOUGH!
How much longer do we have to suffer the same excuses from our so-called 'Coach'? Does he simply select them from his 'Book of Excuses'?
18 - 0 down at half time! He knew what to expect after the last visit so why did he not prepare the squad?
Give him another contract like the Directors did last time (when he had achieved absolutely nothing)? Surely not. But it's their money and the fans and supporters are speaking volumes with their feet - by not attending the games.
Even living only 70 miles from the venue, I had better things to do with my time.
We have the players but the coach simply does not have the ability!
Look forward to receiving the usual criticism from his supporters!

| Hasn't he, March, got a year of his contract left? I don't see the club paying him off, so we will spend another season, maybe two in this division. Just perhaps we should pry that we don't win in Blackpool otherwise Fawcett mite extend his contract. Of course I'm only joking about prying not to win but I sincerely hope that Fawcett has learnt lesson.
I do wish we could have a referendum on getting March out.

| I was at the game Saturday. March is out if we do not go up this year and he knows it, was confirmed to me.
First thing I want to mention was the stupid comment on the official site, I brought it to the chairman and directors attention in a pub before the game, they did not know about it. As confirmed by the london team, no team talk was needed and they just read out this and it was all they needed.
I would like to see a statement about this, they let all the fans down Saturday. Paul should be saying he made an error IMO.
Still annoyed by game glad it did not spoil my weekend!

| pretty disrespectful comments tbh from our perspective, the cup semi was a close affair plus we have beat doncaster and NW away this year and had decent games away at Rochdale and york. Thought March's remarks were ordinary to say the least.

| Thanks for your input 'Elite Skolar'.
Unfortunately, (from what I have gleaned from the team lists), Doncaster did not play any Super League players in your fixture, but I stand to be corrected.
Will you also remind me how many of your actual squad in those fixtures are 'Dual Registered' players from London Bronkos? In fact, will you also remind me of how many current and former London Bronkos players were involved in the recent games against the Cougars by games?
However, irrespective of this, Paul March should have learned from the close Cup game when he selected a completely inappropriate squad.
The fact is that Paul March is a 'Journeyman Coach' just like Cherryholme is a 'Journeyman Player' who rarely impresses but still plays week-in-week-out. Will anyone (who regularly criticises me for my comments) explain why he is selected so consistently but better players are omitted?
Fawcett's 'DREAM' of Super League under March is simply that: A DREAM!
Until he wakes-up to the fact then the Cougars are doomed to a place in the nether regions of Rugby League for ever under March and then the game will die in Keighley.
Although a 'home fixture' for me last Saturday, I couldn't be bothered and following that defeat, I have no intention to waste my 'hard-earned' to pay for a ferry and of driving to the Toulouse fixture in June (which I am sorry to say); but there it goes.
Or rather, 'March Should Go! before he causes more problems in the Cougars ever descending spiral into oblivion.
For my critics, I can still remember the slogan (which was painted on the Bowling Green Wall - now the back of the bottom shed): 'STREET MUST GO', which was still evident for many years after Harry Street's departure. But, I would imagine that such 'vandalism' is not condoned today\; or possibly it might!

If you can't be bothered why waste your time posting all that?
I spoke to a few of their guys after the game including fans and I have to say I enjoyed my visit down there. Nice club and they have as a team improved a lot no matter how the club has got the players to do so. We do not want to see 66 point wins, close games are what will make it much better league!

You are right, although at the moment I'm not going into games all that convinced that we'll end up on the winning side. It's incredibly frustrating because we all know that our squad is capable of playing a lot better than they are. Surely it must be down to the coaching? Are we thinking we can beat the southern teams just by turning up? Why is the defence such a persistent problem? Why do we sometimes only start playing when it's too late and we're already 18-20 points behind? These have been repeated issues throughout PM's time in charge. Why are they not addressed? I don't generally like naming individual players on forums but I'm that fed up that I'm going to make an exception. I agree that it's a bit of a mystery how Chezza gets his place week in week out when the likes of Big Ross doesn't. Fair do's he's been getting in a bit more lately but for me there's no comparison; Ross's name would be the first on my list of forwards every week at the moment. With games against Newcastle, NWC, Toulouse, Barrow, Rochdale etc, coming up in the near future I'm slightly worried. I'm certainly hoping for a reaction at Blackpool on Saturday.

| Thanks 'HC', but just to let you know the reason for my comments is BECAUSE I CARE!
I have supported Keighley RFLC and, more recently the Cougars for the past 54 years. How long have you been supporting the team?
March simply does not have the ability as a coach but, deferring to your far better knowledge, I will wait until the end of the season when, I truly hope, we will gain promotion and then offer you my sincere apologies for the criticism of your beloved coach.

| My reference to the time that I have been a supporter of this (once decent) Club is that I have seen some good times and some great times (as well as seeing some GREAT coaches, some mediocre coaches and many POOR coaches) but Paul March isn't anywhere close to even cleaning the boots of some of our former coaches.
Dare I even askTHIRD DIVISION Club!
Where are we?
4th in DIVISION 3, albeit with a decent 'Points Difference', which could take us up to 3rd but York have a game-in-hand over us.
It doesn't look as though we can or will overtake Toulouse or (even) Rochdale; so where will we finish the Season?
Hopefully (as I am the eternal optimist) with promotion but, with his track record, I trust that we will have a new coach next season.
How many chances does Paul March get?
Dare I even ask if his record is reflected in the attendances at Cougar Park? Better not ..... for fear of even more criticism.
With such a large squad, March has said that he needs to rotate the players, so why is (who can only be described as a 'Journeyman Rugby League Player') Cherryholme an 'ever-present' when other, better, more-consistent, proven try-scoring players are left on the touch-line or given the onerous task of being the 'water-carrier'?
There you go.
As for 'HC' and his comment about my posts: Well, just like the ever diminishing crowds at Lawkholme, if I didn't 'post' then there would be even fewer comments!
Are our former 'posters' leaving as our former supporters have? Check the stats!
