Massive day for our club and town today, Ive made my feelings quite clear over the course of the season regarding our coach and board but hand on heart no matter what my opinions are on certain individuals all that aside I have everything crossed that we stay up. For me it would be a sad day for us to be relagated. This is our cup final day for me and every player has to put every ounce of skill. energy and effort into todays game. They must go out and put their bodies on the line for our club.

Reading papers the club are stating that if we stay up today Marchy has had a successful two years in charge Now on paper this year it reads we have reached a quater final in the challenge cup and avoided relegation but for me its not been that great. As numerous folk have said we should have not even be in this position. If we had done our job properly then we should be sat safe ready to bank some decent coin, look at the games we have thrown away or no disrespect to any teams but look at the games we should have won. I am no fan of the RFL at times I think they are ruining the game in this country but Im sick of hearing excuses now, what ever the outcome today we cant blame the RFL for that we only have our selfs to blame, if we had done our job properly then the decision to relegate five teams, the points debate wouldn't have effected us.

Many will have heard rumours flying around in the town, its only a small town. Players not turning up to training, players behind on wages etc has that played its part. The thing that worries me is if we cant afford to pay wages in this league then we dont stand a chance next year especially since we banked around 40k from the challenge cup that should have set us up for the rest of the year which fawcett stated them words in the KN so where has all that gone

The last thing that has baffled me is why give a coach a two year extension to his contract when you dont actually know if your up or down I only hope the club used their brains and there is a clause in there stating there is a period or a break within the contract come the end of the season that the club can part company if wanted. My opinion the guy that has got us through this year is Paul Royston without him we would have been up the creek without a paddle.

Like i said good luck boys please lets stay up and hope keighley turn out in great numbers but if I have to honest I dont have a good feeling about this. I cant see us beating fev or claiming a bonus point but then knowing us we'll get up for this game which I hope we do. Got a feeling cougar park will turn into fevs ground today with the numbers they'll bring.

There are only two people to blame for the mess we have ended up in today.
One owns the club and the other coaches the club.

The post was credible right until the point where mention was made to unpaid wages? I have never heard that and his timing was impeccable, some might say planned! On the last day of the season he makes a post and brings this up. I know who the poster is and am aware he was employed by the club. Past tense and I won't mention that an more. You can say what you like, but I am certain there is an axe to grind but if he chooses to post that is his right, it's also my right to comment.

There are several reasons why we got relegated, 2 you mention but players are the obvious missed one.

If I had the money to invest I would oust Gary tomorrow and get rid of the coach, but I don't so whilst I agree with you that both are culpable what more can we do, other than support the club and suggest improvements.

Guys leave this for another time ffs.

As for the training issue , well , I know for fact of certain players not training time
After time , and yes the players are partly to blame.

Firstly nothing to hide I have named myself numerous times on here and yes I worked for the club and did my best for the club whilst there.
This is the exact reason why I stopped posting on here and to be totally honest its getting boring now "got an axe to grind" makes me laugh really. I have no problem with anyone on here and nearly all the time find your posts Dominanace to be on the money, I agree with most of what you say and yes probably wasn't the right time to post certain comments but believe me even though I say rumours I wouldn't go posting something if I thought it was just gossip i.e wages!!!

To say the post was planned then if anyone wants to add my post to the list of excuses why we have been relegated then feel free if it makes you feel better. If I really wanted to grind an axe or be vindictive then I could just say "I told you so" but I am just as gutted that we are relegated then anyone. I never ever wanted to see the team relegated I have some good friends that play within the team plus I have supported the club like everyone else since I was a kid.

Its a sad day, it is never going to happen but I just wish there was someone out there that was cash rich and wanted to invest in what was and could be a great club. This is a forum where people can vent frustrations and opinions thats all I was doing.

If you ignore all the other stuff away from the rugby the fact of the matter is numerous teams have been fighting for something the last couple of games within the league. Look at Batley Kear needed his men ready for battle and all they had to do is win both games and then look at us we had Marchy who needed his team to win both games need I say anymore. We can go on and on picking the bones out of why we have been relegated its not going to change a thing just look over the course of the season at the results and the answer is there.
