Thought Keighley had the best of the opening 15 mins , after that the Dons were in control. Having said that I think the Dons got the best of 2 questionable decisions.

Dejavu .....Like a lot of games this season , same tactics all the match even though the opposition
have 'sussed us out' after ten or fifteen minutes ......

And to blame the pitch ......... Well .......seems like a bit of a cop out.

I don,t know what excuses can be made today. We didn't lose due to poor discipline or to making errors or due to bad refereeing decisions. As far as I am concerned the reason we lost was very simple. WE WERE RUBBISH!

What we saw this afternoon is simply not good enough; I was thoroughly unimpressed. We were beaten, quite convincingly in the end, by a Doncaster team that really weren't all that good. As Burley Cougar points out it was same old same old through the whole match, basically give it to the big lads from the PTB and have them run at the opposing line, and Donny had it sussed out after about 10-15 minutes. And our lads never seemed to run onto the ball to go forward with momentum, they were always receiving it and running at the Dons from a standing start. Dons seemed to want it more as well - the passion and aggression seems to be missing from our play for some reason. I'm sure Oxford, Gloucester and Hemel are decent enough places but I have no desire to go there next season to watch my team.

That breakaway try the Dons scored. All our lads seemed to stop as if there'd been some kind of infringement. Anyone know what happened cos I didn't see why they all stopped?

They've not been good all season and the time has to come for the younger lads to be given their shot. Watch the u20's, they know how to take the ball in at pace. We seemed to play better when March was out suspended. If Jones' contract is up at the end of season he's not doing a good job of staking a claim for a renewal.

Pitch was same for both sides and before the game he intimated it may play to our advantage due to expansive game we apparently play. Can't say I've seen much of it this season though?

How many of these games are we going to look back on at the end of the season and say we should have won. Swinton, Haven and now Donny.

Like it or not we are in a relegation dog fight and March needs to stop talking about the play offs. There is a very real prospect we could be relegated. We need to turn up every week and fight for the result. If we lose but play well I'll take that, but we seem to be making the same errors every week and I see no improvement since the first game of the season.

I'll ask the question on the Hello thread, but I've heard the team travel on the minibus now to away games, or in their own cars. If that is true I think it's embarrassing and shows the cost cutting at the club has gone too far.

They thought it was a 2 on 1 rip, which, on looking back at the video (which I'm currently working on to be put online tonight/tomorrow), it definitely was.

to be honest sat on that side of the field , [iand I dont normally slate the officials [/i but it looked liked very much like all 3 officials looked at each other shrugged their shoulders cause they hadn't seen it and let play on ...personally I wouldn't have let that go in an under 8's game ..but hey ho I'm only a speccie.....this is not a criticism of the individuals involved more of the governing body that lets this happen..
