Dewsbury supporters have been very unhappy today after the Rams were thrashed (and nilled to boot) at Rochdale. Apparently four of their own lads were dropped to make way for four Wakefield players who by all accounts, and to put it politely, didn't show a lot of interest in playing for Dewsbury. ...it's easy to see why the Rams fans might be more than a little upset. It reads as though Chris Chester, the coach of another club, is picking their team for the benefit of his own.

Duel reg clubs usually end up faring the worst I think. Apart from the year we were relegated 5th from bottom because the rule breakers had their -3 points penalty given back. But we we don't like mentioning that

Dual registration is a mockery. That however has never stopped the RFL, SL and the clubs themselves from being terminally stupid in the past, present and future.

Please don't imagine for a second that any dual reg arrangement is in any way popular amongst Keighley supporters. It isn't. Not by a long chalk. |

Not sure what you point is!
On this forum we can only speak as fans not for the club.
I am sure If the Cougars decide to duel reg it wont be with the blessing of the fans.
We did try this with Cas a few seasons ago and it wasn't a success.
I can't see any benefit for northern clubs in the Championship to duel reg.
If there is an injury crises at any club there is always the option for a loan deal.

If any of you had been at the q and a meeting with Craig and Gary before start of season you would know that loan players are paid by the club but DR players are paid by there contract club.Loan players last season proved very expensive for Cougars. What did they add?

That makes the whole DR/loan system even more of a joke IMO. In't good old days  you got you players from the A team or signed a player. Seemed to work quite well. |
