| I think that maybe partly the reason. Let's face it, due to the increased number of games the price from last year has increased which may take it above many people's affordability.
This time of the year people's priorities change and their money is used elsewhere.
Is the clubs marketing of the tickets adding to their downfall? Is it sufficient to put this on the forum, club shop and local rag only. You're potentially not going to attract many new fans this way.
Has the free junior tickets had the adverse effect?
Maybe the squad assembled this year has made fans a bit weary before handing over their hard earned cash. I think it's a decent squad don't get me wrong, but on paper it's considerably weaker than last year and maybe many are going to pay on the gate and see.
I still think we'll have a similar gate to that of last season come the first home game, but maybe many fans aren't committing for the whole season just yet. I personally haven't bought one this year as I am not sure I can make every home game and the maths make it better to pay at the gate.

| Same - we haven't purchased our season tickets as yet simply due to funds and money being used elsewhere and Xmas etc etc- it's more cost effective for us having a season ticket - better if we could let someone else attend using our season ticket when we carnt tho

It's 160 quid, it means you don't have to mess about with finding cash on a match day etc
No brainer if your going to most home games. The price should not be an issue as I think 14 on the gate is a lot.

| For me personally, I may miss a few home games so it makes more financial sense to pay on gate.
For some £160 is a lot of money to shell out this time of year.

| What could that be? If your planning on going to most home games why not save money and get a season ticket.
The club did fantastic last season and Halifax away in play offs was a good evening if a little disappointing as we could have won.
Bring on the new season and get the tickets baught everyone.

| Everyone knows times are hard even the club.
So far I have seen the following offers...
Season tickets at last years prices
Pay monthly @ 20 quid, think was
Mate got told you could pay in two installments
Pay in full @ 160 quid.
I don't think the club could have done more than they have. I think if people are honest and look at their outgoings for treats then @ £160 for the year is one of the cheapest things they will do. You can't get gym membership for that etc.
I accept people make their choices but I think moaning about prices, time of year etc is not applicable on this. PS anyone know if they can be baught Boxing day and do you need a photo?

| It would be great if the Golden Goal thing could be publicised and run at every home match

| I've been thinking about the increase in price for next years season ticket.
Last year we got 9 league matches and 2 northern rail cup games.
This year we have 13 league matches. As far as i'm aware we no longer compete in the group stage of the northern rail, championship teams are automatically entered into the last 16 knockout stage.
So we only have 2 extra matches for a £40 increase.

| The tickets can be bought 6 days a week from the shop in town. You do need a photograph yes, but if you had a ticket last year and you don't mind it being cut up, you can bring that with you and it can be used again. I am sure tickets will be able to be bought on Boxing Day, just make sure you bring cash, as the shop does not have a card reader and I don't think there is one at the ground either. Hope this helps.

| Season tickets will be on sale at the Halifax game on Boxing day all you will need is a photo, they do have a card machine down at the club, just see Wendy on the day.
