What can one say. He was a true gentleman and always had time for a chat with the fans. He was a game changer and a leader and loved it at Keighley. I have many fond memories of Danny and will forever remember him. Tonight my heart is heavy but my mind will flick through the memories he has given me. Condolences to his family and friends.
Just wanted to say since Sunday Ive not stopped thinking about Danny and Keighley, its really upsetting and makes you stop and think what all our players do when they step onto the field for our entertainment for very little money .
RIP Danny
Felt proud and honoured to be at your game today as part of the rugby league family, very moving it was too and what a strong and brave lady Danny's wife was today. Thanks again for making us Wakey fans welcome
What a brilliant response from 'The Rugby League Family'.
Despite no-longer being 'a local' and living 300 miles to the south, my family and we continue to follow and support the Cougars and have appreciated the support which has been forthcoming since last Sunday's tragic event, which was our first 'home' game despite it being in London, since 2013 when we returned to Lawkholme, aka 'Cougar Park' to support OUR CLUB.
LET'S DO IT FOR DANNY must be our motto for the rest of this season and WE WILL!
