Keighley never needed to get out of 1st gear for this game(and they didn't look like they wanted to sometimes) however some nice tries, Handforth controlled centre field. But also some soft tries conceded and at 20-38 Hemel had their tails up (albeit for a couple of minutes only).
My gripes-
1 we didn't utilise the wind at all!!! And it was windy
2 fans travel 200 miles (some of us only 55) and the team spend 5 minutes doing pointless attempts at warm down stretching, before half heartedly acknowledging the fans on their way off the pitch
The wind was very blustery and blowing across field. I thought unlike previous Keighley games (versus North Wales last season) where we fell foul of windy conditions I thought we managed the wind today pretty well and minimised risks. Hemel put kicks out on the full more than we did ( I think we did once and that was a couple of inches too far onto the whitewash).
simpsons/simp048.gifI have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!
Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

So he's selfish as well as dictatorial?
Whilst I dont want to criticise them for a comfortable victory away from home, "cruising" in matches has a habit of biting you in the bum. Or it could just be that they are saving themselves for what will be a challenging and physical match at Newcastle. I hope it's the latter and hope our defence is sorted.
In fairness 2 of there tries were not particularly from bad defence, the first being an interception from a speculative Danny J pass ( I breath in a lot when they get floated out) and another was just clever play by Hemel running into a gap created by a stumbling referee , who had to give the try whilst flat on his face. Quite funny.
