Close to death maybe

Hate saying this but Charlie knew, I just didn't think it would be this BAD from the Cougars , pathetic is not an overstatement, I felt sorry for the few Loyal Cougars fans who made the trip to the LSV , they didn't deserve to watch that.Leigh played well and passed the ball out well along the line, but at one point I thought 100 was on the cards.

Okay, from the Leigh Centurions forum;

86 - 0 full time. 16 tries, 3 hattricks.

Could not make it today but what a total waste of time playing Leigh away.

Do we get half the gate or something as can't think of any other reason. I dont think the players would get much out of a tonking?

Bit harsh Charlie, although it was a friendly, I'm sure that Keighley tried their best....just one of those games. Gracious in victory, ever heard of that CC ?

TBH I was just going to post on the Leigh board praising not only the Centurions performance, which was outstanding and that of a side that should win the championship no problem, and the warm welcome we received from the home fans, but you've p8888ed me off in the extreme and I wont be doing that now .....not impressed

Well, we know what Charlie thought of our team's performance - he hasn't minced his words. But is he wrong? I don't know because I wasn't there. Any Cougar fans who made the trip fancy posting some kind of report? I expected a bit of a thrashing but 86-0 wasn't what I had in mind. It's a bit of a worry. Like a few others, I do wonder why we played a friendly away at Leigh. Can't really see what our lads will have got out of that. Are there any positives at all?

Rach, am l bothered what you think or say, not in least, l have given my opinion that's all, if you don't post on our message board, that's your choice, again I I'm not concerned about who you think will win the Championship, we all know the Cougar fans opinion of Bradford, my criticism was aimed at your team,I'm sure you have formed your own opinion.As for welcomes we at Leigh always try to be hospitable, including myself, I have many friends from the Championship Club's, maybe not you , but I won't lose any sleep.Best Wishes.Charles.
