I have to agree with Harry on this I can't believe the RFL have not been in contact with Keighley. Fawcett has hardly been backward at coming forward to the press throughout this saga, yet on D day, when an answer was supposed to be forthcoming all has gone silent.
It doesn't make any sense, but neither does the way he has conducted himself in this matter. The whole sorry affair hasn't done anyone any favours at all. The RFL look incompetent for not punishing any of the clubs that broke the rules, Keighley and Sheffield look petulant and unprofessional for dragging this episode through the press, writing to the games sponsors and MP's at the first opportunity, when surely a better approach would have been to sort this out privately with the RFL and only resulting to airing dirty laundry in press as the absolute last resort. It also looks poor and a little like sour grapes that all of this was done after the final game of the season had been completed and Keighley had been confirmed as relegated, rather than raising concerns immediately after the rules had been broken.'"
That post is wrong on so many levels. Seriously when typing did you believe all that?
I have contaced the Keighley chairman direct and I still stand by my post what do we do now?
