good luck with the appeal the RFL are a shower not fit for purpose, only they could think its ok for a club to keep 3 league points gained fielding an illegal player, feel for you guys

Fingers crossed for some positive outcome of legal action. Very nice to see support from other clubs. Let's hope the RFL really recognise what a huge mistake they've made with their "justice" system.

Why did the club not start this process after the points were returned to Donny and Batley?

We should do this jointly with Sheffield as they also dropped a place due to Donny being given 3 points back.

I agree that the advice and action should really have been taken prior to the game on Sunday. Whilst I feel we have a strong case and agree we should be fighting this, after the game it can, to the outsider, all appear as sour grapes because we got relegated. I understand that it has impacted on us the most now, but would have preferred some communication before the game.

Anyone thinking that the decision will be reversed are kidding themselves. Batley will not be relegated and will be involved in the play offs. That much I am certain of. I'm not a lawyer so don't know all the loopholes and RFL's policies etc, but as a layman I feel we must have a strong case. The best we can hope for is the RFL to accept they got the DR wrong through poor administration and due to that they make a concession that Keighley stay in the Champ. That to me is the best we can hope for. Knowing the RFL and the costs involved if the RFL want to play hard ball we will struggle to take matters further due to costs.

Respect to the club for fighting it and thanks to the fans from other clubs who have come out in support. We need that support as strength in numbers is what will make the RFL sit up and take note.

Doncaster to go unpunished for Cheating.

They asked the rfl to clarify the situation.

They probably didn't expect Donny to throw the game against Batley

Just what the club needed to do, it wouldn't send out a good message to fans, players and most importantly sponsors if they were seen to just take it on the chin. I will be very shocked if the rfl hand out punishment or even let us stay up. I think the best thing we can do is push for compensation on the grounds of lost revenue in gates, players we might have kept if stayed up, loss of sponsors if any etc. At least next season if successful in getting compensation the bank account would look good and set us up for the season ready to push on.

The rfl just seem to turn up on a daily basis and must think right what rule can we come up with today.
