| We may have got spanked yesterday but our home form has been very good .Since being beat by NWC at home we have gone on to beat,Donny, dews, swinton, eagles, cougars, and to be honest were hard done by in the Leigh game .We tonked Batley at their place so I would expect a win at home against them .Batleys run in is horrendous ,lots of twist turns and still some shock results to come

The final 6 weeks of the Championship (with Sheffield still having to play their FIRST game of the season [against Rochdale) - How did they get away with that? Never mind just now.

Whitehaven-Rochdale Hornets 3 0
Batley Bulldogs-Leigh Centurions 0 3
Doncaster RLFC-Sheffield Eagles 3 0
Featherstone Rovers-Barrow Raiders 3 0
Halifax R.L.F.C.-Dewsbury Rams 3 1

Leigh Centurions-Featherstone Rovers 3 1
Whitehaven-Batley Bulldogs 3 1
Batley Bulldogs-Dewsbury Rams 1 3
Sheffield Eagles-Whitehaven 1 3
Halifax R.L.F.C.-Featherstone Rovers 1 3
Keighley Cougars RLFC-Crusaders Rugby League 3 1
Rochdale Hornets-Doncaster RLFC 1 3
Swinton Lions-Leigh Centurions 0 3
Workington Town-Barrow Raiders 3 0
Batley Bulldogs-Swinton Lion 3 0
Barrow Raiders-Crusaders Rugby League 1 3
Dewsbury Rams-Keighley Cougars RLFC 3 1
Doncaster RLFC-Halifax R.L.F.C. 3 1

Absolutely right there, what worries me is we have supposedly three of the easier teams to play! Its one or two of those games which I can see us ballsing up. We beat Rochdale convincingly, the week after they beat Fev. The leagues gone mad.
Good luck for the season, lets hope were both in it come next year.
Interesting about Batley 666, looking at your predictions thy might be getting worried...

| Wonder if Mr Royston could go see if Wigan would let Cougars have Joel Tomkins on 6 weeks loan under his supervision?

| We seem to have a decent relationship with Warrington, haven't they got someone who would fit our needs, for a few weeks? Team like that must have some decent youngsters, who could do with a run out at a decent level?

| We have a roster of players that are capable of doing the job, unfortunately we've had injuries that have cost us dear.
To my mind, Handforth and Jones developed an understanding and have been the best half back partnership we've seen down here for a good few years. Coupled with injuries to Buster, Shickell, Sheriffe, and others plus the suspension to March we've been found wanting.
Getting fit bodies back on the park and "getting our heads right" would give us a fighting chance.
As for a DR player, or a loan player, we've already seen this year with sides we've played against, that some are a big success whilst others are a waste of space and a detriment to team performance.
Thing is it's now do or die, and it pains me to say, we have to be amongst the favourites for the drop.
An urgent return to winning form is needed by whatever means.

Relegatiin would mean disaster.
