Its a shame that the junior clubs are dwindling.

Albion have a full age range of teams from u8s to u16s ....don't think the numbers playing has fallen it is just now they are based at Cross Fllatts rather than Utley and the Cubs

Also you could fill the 3 'outsiders 'shirts in that U20s team with local boys who have been u20s regulars all season. , jack Copperwaite at Full Back ( Cubs) , Luke Whitley on the wing (Cubs) and Luke Robinson in at number 8 who came through the scholarship. You've also got Sean Kelly and Josh Lynham with the first team both of them came through the Cubs Junior Ranks.

Deans just messaged me and said its now a case of young players approaching the club from outside the local area wanting to join us and other local lads who have gone to other clubs now wanting to return to Cougar Park

As they say nothing succeeds like success. I hope the Academy and Under 20s get all the backing they need. They are the future of our club which, at the moment, looks great thanks to a lot of hard work put in by many people.

Sean Kelly missed the game against Leigh as he was stand in for the injured Buster today.
