We can not afford to slip up and be relegated and a cup game in the middle of a season could see unnecessary injuries.
I would not play my first 17 but a combination of the first team and some youngsters, this would give the youngsters a hand in with the first team to see how they cope and rest first team players that we wouldn't want to expose to unnecessary injuries.
I know that's not what people want to hear but that is exactly how I would play it to give us a fighting chance in the championship

I would tend to agree. Whilst we need a confidence boost, I would include some of our Under 20's to give them a shot. Survival is more important that this cup and the last thing we want is more injuries. We don't want to do a Wigan Athletic! It may also be a time to freshen things up and maybe give some of our under performers time on the sidelines.
If we play with a younger side I can see Batley running up 30/40 points. A full strength squad should make it more competitive but honestly I can still see a 12 to 18 points margin to Batley.
