Still here folks I haven't vanished
I have to agree with most comments on here we looked the best we have so far this season, still not perfect but hey a wins a win. We played some great rugby against York and for me the man of match was Brendan Rawlins he really give it everything. It was great to see us get that first win and see the players looking happy with them selfs.
My honest opinion, yes I enjoyed the game and we did play some good rugby but for me it was nothing to get carried away with. I think we all new we were going to keep York quite and put a few past them due to their injuries and DR players they didn't have compared to their previous games. I aren't taking anything away from our boys because it was a massive improvement but to beat york doesn't get me thinking we are ok and are going to start winning games and climbing the table. For me now looking at the fixtures the only games that I think we will struggle with are Dewsbury, Workington, Sheffield and probably Hunslet as they are fielding a good Rhinos squad
Workington is a tricky place to go and get a win but that goes for any of the cumbrian teams.
So for me at the minute yes I'm happy we finally got a win but we are a long way off from saying we are going to be ok. I will still be there backing our boys against Dewsbury and the rest of the league, Come on COUGARS.
Just quickly on the shirts, can we please just wear the white one from now on. I thought the team looked great and very modern so much better than the horrible green thing. I will definately be buying the white shirt and especially since its going to a great cause, well done to everyone who puts the time and effort in for this charity because off the field for me its the only thing our club has anything to shout about at the minute. One thing that hasn't been made clear unless I've missed it. Is all the money paid for the charity going to the charity or is the club having a cut, also who is taking the money for the shirts.
