Quote: Dominance "I think that maybe partly the reason. Let's face it, due to the increased number of games the price from last year has increased which may take it above many people's affordability.
This time of the year people's priorities change and their money is used elsewhere.
Is the clubs marketing of the tickets adding to their downfall? Is it sufficient to put this on the forum, club shop and local rag only. You're potentially not going to attract many new fans this way.
Has the free junior tickets had the adverse effect?
Maybe the squad assembled this year has made fans a bit weary before handing over their hard earned cash. I think it's a decent squad don't get me wrong, but on paper it's considerably weaker than last year and maybe many are going to pay on the gate and see.
I still think we'll have a similar gate to that of last season come the first home game, but maybe many fans aren't committing for the whole season just yet. I personally haven't bought one this year as I am not sure I can make every home game and the maths make it better to pay at the gate.'"
It's 160 quid, it means you don't have to mess about with finding cash on a match day etc
No brainer if your going to most home games. The price should not be an issue as I think 14 on the gate is a lot.
