Hopefully one of those Props is a big nasty so and so that gives a few penalties away, gets a few cards but puts the fear of god in to the opposition.

I also think we need 2 loose forwards, a big 2nd rower who can offload and a big centre capable of breaking tackles and therefore attracting defenders.

Would be one hell of a signing as he's an awesome athlete. But I think a Super League Club would pick him up. I was thinking more like trying to persuade Jake Normington to comeback.

Halifax were looking at him, before his BARLA tour to France, where he broke his leg.

Is Tom the one that played for us before being released back to the amateur scene, or am I thinking of someone else?

Regarding the Jake situation, as far as I understood it (I could be wrong so those in the know please feel free to correct me) he was still in contract with Leeds but for whatever reason became unhappy with life there. There was some mention about him not being offered a new contract or something. He was playing for one of the Leeds amateur teams the last time I looked, assuming he's still tied to Leeds so couldn't play professionally. I don't know the fine details, but would assume from next season he'll be free to speak to clubs. If I'm honest I don't think Leeds played fair with him. From what I hear I think he'd like to come back.

I feel JD has tinkered this season like Stealth has mentioned, but he did the same last season. That's one of the reasons why we're so inconsistent, but I think it's also due to the personnel we have. IMO we have some good championship 1 players who have not really made the step up. The difference between the two divisions is consistency. Some have turned it on in the odd game, but can't do it week in week out. Coleman would be the one shining example. When he plays he impresses, but too often he goes missing in games. I agree however, he hasn't been had a long run of games, but when there's competition for places you have to take your chance. We don't pay the money some teams do so I suppose in terms of squad depth we're not going to attract all the players we would like to.

I am really impressed with Stack from Workington every time I see him play.

Someone like Matt Paratta. Great shame he couldn't stay with us.
