My friend told me at the weekend that Cougars are on the verge of signing Keith Senior.

Can anyone deny or confirm this?

He is a lifelong Leeds fan and his son plays for their acadamy side so i am 99% certain it is true but theres just the 1% of me that says 'Don't be ridiculous'!!

Senior has been linked with loads of clubs. From what I have read, he still has designs on Super League, so I would question his motivation at this level.

If he was fully fit and suitably motivated he would be a powerhouse centre in the championship, but I would have thought he wouldn't come cheap.

He isnt playing anyone at the moment. Can he afford to demand big money

On the Leeds forum it has been said that .......... he (Senior) was nearing fitness and talking to other clubs in SL. The Pay for Play offer from Leeds is still there apparently ..............
