| don't really disagree with anything above.
in defence Dewsbury's line speed was excellent.
yet again Richie Barnett wasn't standing deep enough in attack and over ran the ball when the man inside him was tackled.
and how many times can you get away with slowing the game by not turning up for the scrum? answer - as many as you like.
i thought Random Ronnie wasn't too bad (for him) but surely he can't be allowed to natter a kicker to death while he's preparing for a conversion?

| ...and he failed to stop the game when Dewsbury ended up scoring a try after the lead up play had gone close to our man being treated for what looked like a serious head injury - whereas he seemed to let Dewsbury have a two minute break before a late scrum for one of their players to tie a bootlace...

| Iam sorry to have to mention this but i thought the game changer was duffy's error, when the ball was clearly kicked too hard and sailing out on the full gav tried to catch it when there was no need we were 22 - 18 up at that point and dewsbury were on the back foot, there number 10 who was very good started to stop running in tackles, and we had control, then the error and dewsbury exploded into life again.

| I don't think it's fair to blame one player for the loss. I'm sure there were several factors throughout the game where things could have been done better. For instance, Barnett going into touch only 10/15 yards out is a schoolboy error and I think they scored off the next set from the scrum.
It's a team performance and I don't think it's right to single out one player for the loss, but I accept that is your take on the game.

| Completely agree dominance - shouldn't really blame individsual players as team performance is key - maybe our best team on performance should be played against Swinton rather than so many changes

Couldnt disagree more, Barnett should have had some of his own players near ensuring he didn't go into touch. If 4 Dewsbury players could be there I am sure some Cougars players could have been aswell

I wasn't at the game so I will have to bow to your better knowledge, however, my point wasn't about Barnett, it was then we shouldn't be blaming one player for the loss. I merely used the Barnett in touch incident as an example to show other's made mistakes in the game too which your reply clearly illustrates.

| There is a rumour on the Wakefield Trinity Wildcat forum that one of our 'old boys' might be on his way back to Belle Vue.
We're lacking in line busting props, along with the current good form of Michael Korkidas, has anyone heard that he is going back for his last chance at Super League? He is only 30 & would have thought he's got a couple of years left in him at the top level.

| Thats a bit naughty, just had a look on your forum it seems the rumour came from asmadasa, your good self, nice try Korki has a full time job in the community here, and is contracted as a Cougar player as far as I know, so you will have to pay,Obst likewise although he may have a get out clause with his,if anyone knows different feel free to correct me.
Still asmadasa good tactics, the Cougar forum is always full of doom and gloom merchants so by this time tomorrow most Cougar fans on here will be talking about a replacement for Korki.
