As a former player, would it be worthwhile asking Garfield if he would be interested in allowing the Cougars to sell signed copies of his book on the same basis as the high street bookshops - on sale or return, thereby enabling the Cougars, as one of his former clubs, to benefit from the sales?

Have just been told by Andrew Hardcastle the biographer that he and Garfield will be going to the Hall of Fame event this Friday and will be taking with him some books that the Welshman will be more than happy to sign.
The Shay Stadium management have offered an upgrade, so the book launch will now be in the Banqueting Suite in the new East Stand.
All Keighley fans very welcome. Free food available to make your journey even more worthwhile.
For those who can't make it, it's true that Garfield will be at the Keighley Hall of Fame event on the 27th. He doesn't want to tread on anyone's toes, so won't be making a song and dance about it, but will have books if anyone asks for one, and will be happy to sign (even though he has Parkinson's, which is where his profits will go).
