Well, it's twenty quid more than last year; balanced against having to find entry and beer money every other week, I'll be going for the season ticket option, at the discounted price.
...does it get us a discount in the shop (or even better, at the bar?!)
Reckon this is a bit of an own goal for the club, there is no reward to the previous season ticket holders, i expect the take up of season tickets will be very low compared to last year, its a definite no from me, less money spent at the bar and one or two easy wins may lose out to family days out - and thats just the way it is!
IMO there should definatly be something for a current season ticket holder because when season tickets were sold fans were not aware that the club was going into administration. So they should still be £100 for exsiting ticket holders and new fans £120.
10 League games, 2 NRC Games, 1 Challenge Cup game.
13 s £11 = £143.
If you might miss a couple of games next year then the £120 ticket is not so staggering a saving.
If you miss any games the £140 ticket puts you out of pocket.
Also worth considering how many games will have cheap or free tickets given out next season.
For me I think it would become a good deal if this year they let season ticket holders in for free to U21s.
They are just as entertaining and beer tastes just as good watching them as it does watching the 1st team.
It really surprises that cougars dont include U21's games aswell with the season ticket as I think every other club does. When I was a season ticket holder in 2008 (pointless in the end as I ended up working on the gate nearly everyhome game), I tried with my season ticket for a U21's game but the guy on the gates wasnt having it.
