The mighty cougars won all 3 group games today resulting in a semi final against Sheffield the final score beig 20-14 to Sheffield.

The referee was Mr Merrick and in a nutshell its clear he has a problem with the Cougars, with the game finely balanced we were attacking their line then for reasons known only to himself he penalised us, no player commited an offence and other clubs fans were equally puzzled.

Then another instance was when an eagles player kicked the ball dead in goal with us chasing the ball the ref and touch judge gave it to Sheffield but the touch judge on the other side of pitch disagreed and we got the drop out.

This is not sour grapes because we lost and well done to Sheffield but a statement of fact.

If I were to put exactly what I thought I would be banned from here

Well done lads.

It's a shame these things have to be ruined by poor officials.

I know they have a difficult job, but we're talking about professional sport here, they should be up to it.
