| Good to see the WBC holding a fair and open inquiry into all the events surrounding the fight before coming to a decision.
Boxing governing bodies make FIFA look like paragons of sporting virtue. The likes of Sulaiman must be a very rich man by now, with a large collection of used brown envelopes.

| WBC showing themselves to be a bunch of hypocrites. They didn't stop Tyson fighting for the WBC belt after his conviction or his ear biting. They haven't banned Margarito for loading his gloves and the likes of Mayorga and Hopkins have said and done some deporable things out of the ring, yet they don't receive such treatment.

| Totally one sided fight tonight and pretty embarrassing for the heavy weight division.
On a side note Vitali and Haye need to either get the contract signed or cut out the crap as it's getting really boring now.

However much I try, I just can't be convinced by Wladimir Klitschko as a top class heavyweight.
The guy has all the attributes of a classic bully....All intimidation, but with the underlying knowledge that somebody at some point is going to find you out, by landing one on your chin and exposing you for what you are.
Yes, he is dominating a poor division, and for the first time I'd say he is the better of the two brothers, but I really believe a half decent heavyweight would take him apart.

| And agree with the above post. As much as I like Wladimir K outside the ring, inside the ring he is a borderline dirty, boring, negative fighter who is horrible to watch. He may have a great record but his tactics are dreadful.

Even more so should he lose again.

| Groves has pulled out of the Anderson fight because of injury. However it looks like he maybe stepping in for Mikel Kessler against Steiglitz for WBO title in April.

| Looking forward to seeing Macklin vs Martinez on Saturday. He fought valiantly against Sturm and should have won. Will be interesting to see if he can give a similar standard performance at Madison Square Garden.
Brook vs Hatton - As much as I'd love Hatton to win, I can't see it. Matthew Hatton is pretty average at best, and you'd have to think he'd be nowhere without the fame of Ricky.

I think you do Hatton a disservice to be honest he's a better fighter than he gets credit for, and over the last few years has developed into a decent contender. Having said that I hop Brook sparks him out

Aye I'll agree with that - and he has had some good fights. Beating Tackie was no mean feat even though passed it, and against Alvarez he was brave albeit completely outclassed. My point was more that far better fighters have never got the fame and chances of Matthew Hatton.
Then again I think his slow, determined style may well come up trumps against Brook. He nearly always goes the distance, win or lose, and if he can survive the inevitable early flurry from Brook then he may well be able to pick him off in the later rounds.

Was looking forward to that too, Not the first time Groves has pulled out of potential fights with injury either.

| IMO Groves needs to set the record straight with Anderson first, couple of European level fights, then do a better job on DeGale before he goes near a world title fight. He has a lot of potential, excellent jab, good range of punches and aggressive style, but he is so open to the big right hand it's not even funny at the moment.
