Robin van persie £24,000,000
Wayne Rooney £28,000,000
Kun Aguero £38,000,000
Fernando Torres £50,000,000
Luis Suarez £22,7000,000
Andrew Carroll £35,000,000
Nikica Jelavic £6,000,000
The only player's in that list who I think are better value are Wayne Rooney, Luis Suarez and Nikica Jelavic. Suarez and Rooney due to their age and potential and Jelavic due to his price tag. It give's Man United two world class talents and with Nemanja Vidic, Darren Fletcher, Kagawa, Nick Powell and now Robin van persie added to the squad form last year there is alot more depth.'"
In terms of value, I think Aguero paid off a large chunk of his transfer fee on 13th May. |

I dunno. With Walcott, Cazorla and Arteta they should create enough chances. Arsenal's failure has always been a lack of solidity in their spine, goalkeeper, centre backs and central midfield. Their keeper (Whose name I can't spell) matured into a decent keeper last season, Vermaelen and Kozcienly (More bad spelling no doubt) looked better and Alex Song also developed an awful lot last year. If Podolski or Giroud can score 20 goals a season I don't think they'll do too badly. They will also no doubt be able to pick someone else up on deadline day again this year. |

Who would he go to though? I can't see the likes of City, United or Chelsea being interested in him, so unless he fancies a backwards move to a club like Liverpool or Newcastle, I can't see where he'd go. |

Heard we want him as a back up should Tello's loan move not go through. SSN radio reporting that Dempsey to LFC is near completion, along with Nuri Sahin on loan. |

You can't say whether he's value for money before he's kicked a ball because of his injury record. He's just turned 29 and until last year hadn't played in more than thirty league games or scored more than twenty league goals. He may well be performing at his peak and getting a world class striker for £24m isn't that much if he stays fit. On the plus side he can't have much wear and tear on him from the amount of games he's played which could prolong his career.

As for Aguero, £38m is beginning to look like a real steal at this moment in time i.e. you are talking Romario level of quality finishing, which is expensive. |

difference is, last year was the first i didn't select him for my fantasy team, it's staying that way.
