Love that one, it's one the with "overpowers with lawnmowers", and 5 mins of "You Ho Kogan".
Wonderful, intense, but incomprehensible.

| The Warrior promo where he goes on about meeting Hogan at Wrestlemania where he goes on about overpowering the pilots and crashing the plane.

| The Warrior ran to the ring, shook the ropes, hit a few clotheslines then went home. And got paid millions to do so.
The vast majority on the pro wrestling circuit take countless bumps, wreck their bodies earning little recognition and just enough money to get by.
Is the Warrior really as crazy as people say he is? I think he's a genius.

| If it was that easy, Matt Morgan, Scott Steiner, and countless other big built fellas would have done the same.
Warrior packaged himself really well, and sold better than either of the two above to make what he did as believable as possible. He lost most of his matches with taker. It's what was talked about a few pages ago. You can make money & sell tickets without being the best, but by having the arena in your hand.
Warrior needed the right opponent though. Hogan wasn't & their match in WCW is second only to the Sharmel match in TNA for sheer cringeworthiness. But his matched with Dibiase, Savage, and HHH were pretty decent. The SS cage match with Rick Rude was great.

| You should watch the Self-destruction of the Ultimate Warrior DVD.
Does only give WWE's version of events as Warrior refused to partake, so it does paint him in a bad light.
But the stuff by Bobby Heenan about warrior's feud with andre the giant is quite funny.

| I have it, yes it's biased against someone who at the time was suing them. Jericho, Christian & Edge give fair account IMO. I also have the WWE Silvervision Warrior tape which tells another story.
I'd rather go by my memory (which sometimes fails me), but you get a better idea that the biased crap that's available for "research". McMahon re-invents history as often as he changes his socks.

Agree Hogan wasn't the right opponent to get a good match out of Warrior in 1998 WCW (but then again would anyone have been?) but their match at WMVI is a classic IMO (not technically, but in terms of 'Icon v Icon' style, atmosphere, drama etc).
The thing I'll always defend Hogan on is that he is, and always will be, the biggest star in the history of pro-wrestling, and therefore the best worker, because as several guys have said (e.g. Heenan and Nash) the best worker in wrestling is the guy who makes the most money. And like someone said, it's not as easy as just throwing people in a spot and they become a star, that's why so many have flopped over the years.
Not seen Raw or SmackDown for ages, any news on Kevin Nash (Diesel)?
