1230.gif “You are playing a game of football this afternoon but more than that you are playing for England, and more even than that, you are playing for right versus wrong. You will win because you have to win. Don’t forget that message from home. England expects every one of you to do his duty.”:1230.gif |

Henrik Larsson in the middle of the defence. Interesting tactical decisions by Kenny It's been a pretty good laugh so far this to be fair. Hope the ROW team appreciate how lucky they are to be playing alongside Zidane and Figo, must be incredible that!

Aye top player Sammi. Figo and Zidane two of the best players of my generation would sneak it for me personally. Larsson still looks in tip top shape.

Was that Lassana Diarra or Brian Lara in midfield?

Thought Dwight Yorke might of played for ROW with him involved. Wouldn't have fancied playing their school at Cricket or Football

I found a group on facebook called 'Clive Tydesley is the antichrist'. Here's what it had to sayIn the crowded field of sub-standard football commentators/analysts (from the sonic waffling of John Motson, to the frankly mesmeric philosophies of Martin Keown) there is one man who dares to be different, who dares to break through boundaries, who dares to stand up amongst media riff-raff and Robbie Earle and say "No! I refuse to be one of the crowd! I want to be a loud, over-excited, biased piece of play-dough with a microphone!"
That's right, folks, Clive Tyldesley manages to turn being a fat, annoying tw[ia[/it into an art form. What other broadcaster could mix pathetic metaphors, a relentless love of Manchester United, and a blatant addiction to Ginster's Pasties (an addiction so powerful David Pleat once exclaimed, "[iF[/iuck me, Clive, that's a lot of pasties for one man..."icon_wink.gif to such a ridiculous end?
Logic does not come into play, and his abysmal commentaries ask more questions than they answerfu[/icking game he's watching?
The only answer to these questions, my brethren, lies in the fact that he is the son of the devil.'"
Made me laugh, but maybe I'm easily amused.

25852_1297892995.jpg You've stolen my washing
From out my back garden
You've tarmacked my driveway
Even though I said no
You've nicked my lead flashing
And weighed it in at the scrappy
Oh St Helen's tatters
Come rob me again:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_25852.jpg |

| I found a website even more succint than that about Clive Tyldesley, but i'm not posting a link to it!

Can Inter afford Torres? I very much doubt it.

| I think the blues are right in getting rid of J.Cole, on his day hes a brilliant player but just to injury prone. I would have liked Ballack to stay for another year as i think we'll miss his presence. Looking like we'll be bringing in Bastain Schweinsteiger, havent seen to much of him.

TBH I'm delighted that we've acted quickly and made a statement now rather than letting the speculation drag on all through the World Cup.
Delighted that Joe Cole has gone. I just think he stole game time this season from Kalou, Sturridge and and Kakuta. Kalou had a similar amount of time as Cole but was so much more productive it's untrue. I think if either Sturridge or Kakuta jad been played instead of Cole they'd have probably given more as well, on top of gaining valuable experience.
It's rumoured that Cole's going to Arsenal. Hilarious, if it's true. The kings of pointless football signing another ineffective player is a sure sign Arsenal will not be challenging for a title in the near future.
