| Sounds like the only white on the field on Sunday will be The Seahawks in their change jerseys
Is it right that 8 of the last 9 Super Bowls have been won by teams wearing white?
Hopefully a lucky omen for Seattle

| Some experts predicting a 20+ points win for Denver! What happened to Seattle's supposed best defence in the NFL?

Probably the same experts who said the same about the 49ers last year
Denver look impressive but on the big day you never know?!

Not sure about that, think I heard somewhere that Denver had lost the last 3 SB's when they have played in orange though.

| I'll take Denver. As good as Seattle's D is. I can't see them stopping Peyton enough times.
Although I hope Seattle win to drive Wilson's price up.

| Well I guess the tone last night was set when, as we sat down with a few cans, I made the observation "wouldn't you look like a right t0sser if you botched the snap on the first play of a Super Bowl" and proceeded to see exactly that happen.
Gonna be a miserable sleep deprived day.

| That was probably the longest and most painful NFL game I've sat through for a long time. Everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong for Denver last night. The botched snap, the fumbles, the INT's, the kick off return etc etc. The defence for the Jermaine Ke TD was appalling. Manning never really got going and that was down to the intensity of the Sea Hawks pass rush.
Well played Seattle. Their defence was scary last night. I honestly don't think anybody in the NFL would have got near them last night.

| If ever there was an example of defence winning games that was it
The Seahawks were brilliant, probably pushed Peyton into retirement as well.
Last night is well worth the hangover

| Not suprised Seattle managed to win, atlhough i picked Denver. I am suprised by the manner in which they did it.
Will be interesting if they can keep the Legion of Boom and the defence, especially the depth, together given many key players are on rookie deals. Wilson, Sherman and Earl Thomas (amongst others) are likely to get bumper deals in the next season or two. They have benefited from having key performers on miniscule deals which means they have cash to spend on depth elsewhere. Soon that will change. Something San Francisco will also find out soon enough too with the likes of Kaepernick and Aldon Smith (i think) coming up.
Something we are dealing with, to a lesser extent, this off-season.

Always happens doesn't it players of winning teams getting their heads turned by bigger pay cheques elsewhere...remember Desmond Howard?.
Probably will lose a few players but while the big three off the field (Allen, Schneider, Carroll) hang around feel the team will be competitive at least.

| I usually can't stand one sided games but when it's a team I don't like and a player I hate I can make exceptions. Was a joy to was Seattle dominate from start to finish
I know how much it hurts to lose the SB in close/well matched games but to get absolutely hammered like that must be embarrasing aswell.

I know of Howard but he was slightly before my time.
Of course Seattle will be competitive SB contenders. It will just be interesting how they handle it. Schneider is, I believe, previously part of GB staff. Will he follow the Ted Thompson route of personnel management or pay whatever to keep them all.
It isn't so much players getting their heads turned just realistically they will all get bumper deals which means something will have to give elsewhere. Salary this year for Sherman, Browner, Chancellor, Thomas, Wagner, Wilson, Tate is circa $13 million.

Don't think Seattle would miss Tate & Browner out of the above.
Looking to next year who from the AFC will challenge the NFC heavyweights next season?
