| Quote LFCRhino="LFCRhino"In the police statement it says he broke his leg
HTH
Either way it doesnt change the fact that John Terry is a 2@'"
What did the police statement say after St Steve was part of a group that laid into the guy at the bar?
What did the FA statement say when they let him off for elbowing the Pompey player?
Is Steven Gerrard a 2@?

| Quote El Pac Carnegie="El Pac Carnegie"He was apparently going 1-2mph. I'm worried about JT if he can't realise that he has, I'd guess, gone over some blokes leg? Would have to be at a strange angle for it to break a bone at those speeds if he didn't run it over'"
TBH the 1-2mph figure comes from a club statement. That statement also says that the guard suffered the badly bruised leg, while the police are saying it was a broken leg.
It all depends on how many people were surrounding the car and how it was being driven. Obviously I hope JT is found to be blameless in this because the last thing we need is another scandal.

Just another notch on his belt of shame. Even last night he took it upon himself to run 60 yards to complain about Drogba being sent off for stamping on someone. The man is a disgrace and shouldnt be near the england team.

Seems odd though. Travelling that slow you would feel the bump as you go over the league. Doesn't look for JT especially with his recent troubles. I suspect that even if he is at fault the injured fella won't press charges.
Oh and Wayne Rooney would of been treated the same as the Drog or have you forgotten his stamping "previous"?

The latest incident of Rooney's I was on about was when he was playing for England against Estonia (or some country like that). Rooney goes in for a cross, he's not going to get it and in frustration attempts to kick a defender. He misses the defender, but falls over like a fool. The ref awards him a pen.
The last few days have seen the mancs lauding him as a player with no weakness. He has a glaring weakness - that he cannot control his temper and is always on the brink of a red card. But that isn't much of a weakness in the PL where him and Steven Gerrard can get away with pretty much anything.

| Am I hearing this properly?
Rooney gets a lot of help with his goals, but Messi seems to do it by himself?
Wow. I mean, we all know Messi is more capable than anyone of individual brilliance, but to say he seems to be doing it on his own is mad, he's in the best side in the world, the likes of Xavi, Iniesta and Alves don't swan around doing nothing for 90 minutes!

| Barcelona (2-0 on the night) and Bordeaux (1-0 on the night) look set to join the other teams in the hat for the last 8.

| Messi having a decent game...
[i13: GOAL - MESSI!!
And what a goal! The Argentine received the ball from Yaya Toure before driving towards the area. The defence stood off him as he fired a shot into the top corner from 20 yards out. Unstoppable effort.
60: GOAL - MESSI!!
Another wonderful goal from the Argentine. The play was spread out down the right to Pedro, who played the ball back in for Alves. The right-back flicked the ball onto Messi, who turned and placed it in the bottom corner from the edge of the box.[/i
