That wasn't the exact point I was making, no. But some people seem to be basing this award purely on this season, rather than the calendar year.

You could argue 'til you're blue in the face about who should've won this award, but at the end of the day, it's the players who've voted for it. And they're going to base it on different criteria to us as supporters. After all, we're not the ones out on the pitch playing against them. We just go off the odd game we see, highlights and statistics.

It's all about opinions.


And anyway, where was the public outrage when David Ginola won the award in '99? That was an even bigger joke!

Still think Utd by 2 points and Hull, Boro and West Brom to go down. Although Boro will get a point v Utd on Sat.

In my real one they drew against Arsenal but I think I might of been too easy can see they winning all the games winning it before the last game then letting hull get points to stay up and send newcastle down.

I can see it going to the last day. I have Utd to draw v Boro, City and Arsenal with you drawing v West Ham, so Utd win by 2 points on final day.

If they would have dropped points against spurs I might have been more positive but reckon they will hit some form now after that second half showing I think they will win alot of there remaining games pretty easy.
