Houston -4.5
Does that mean if i select Houston and they win by 4.5 or more i win and if they win by 4.4 or less then i lose.
So for me to be right they have to win by more than the spread? |

Yeah pretty much. A better example to use would be one with a whole number.
Arizona -9 at the Rams.
You pick Arizona if you think they'll win by 10 or more or pick the Rams if you think Arizona will win by less than 9 or that the Rams will win.
If the spread is 9 exactly then it's called a 'push' I think - and neither person gets it as a correct pick. |
