| Quote: Mark "Great weekend of NFL action, the Chargers being the only real surprise, they look really up for it though. Another 4th quarter loss for Aaron Rodgers, 5-25 when entering the 4th behind, 0-3 against playoff teams this season. Chokeadoodledo. Andrew Luck is big time, easily the best young qb despite some looneys on here (conroy)saying RG3 would be better coming out of college. Four great games again this week.'"
What I actually said was I thought RG3 would go on to better overall if things panned out but Luck would be better immediately as he was more Pro ready.
We'll see how RG3 comes back next year from this season of poor play - he is a very very good passer (accurate) and extremely mobile obviously. If he has lost that permanently with his injury then he has problems - which is what I said in the draft ie his skills could be unbelievable but he is more susceptible to injury.
Luck has panned out better than anybody could think off though. He is unbelievable. If Rodgers were gone and we could get any QB to replace him it would be Luck in a heartbeat.
I won't even rise to your stats argument.

| I might be wrong SC but I think Eli has more playoff wins at Lambeau than Rodgers.

Probably. Eli has 2? Both years you won it? 07 (pre Rodgers) and 11?
I think (not sure) Rodgers is 1 - 2.
08 - missed play-offs.
09 - Wildcard away at Arizona. Loss
10 - Champions. All away from home.
11 - Bye week. Loss in divisional round to you?
12 - Beat Minnesota at home. Loss to San Fran away.
13 - Loss at home to San Fran.

| The Saints will get mashed at the Seahawks. They were hanging on against the Eagles with their patched up secondary. That's not going to enough to compete this weekend. 49ers at Panthers can go either way, depending on which QBs show up i.e. they both have similar probabilities of being big game or rabbits in headlights.
Colts at New England looks like a good game. Can't see past the Broncos in the other. Either way they should provide two tasty Championship games.

| Workmen-like performance by Seattle, looks like they will be playing the 49ers next (if you listen to their fans on various websites, rather disrespectful of Carolina in feel)

| 4/4 on my predictions. Hopefully Broncos win it all. If I had to choose another team to win it would probably be Seattle; the lesser of the other three evils!

Any team but New England is fine with me.

| We've been battered the last two times we have visited Seattle - but our D was immense yesterday (especially at the goalline), and if we can play like that again, I think we have a great chance of winning there.
Not sure we could do it for 3 games running though to win the SB if we do beat the Seahawks!

It'll be a chippy game I bet.

| Weekend predictions
Cheats 31-27 Bronchoes
Fortywhiners 19-23 Seahawks
Cheats win superbowl.
I'm already looking forward to the draft. I'm hoping for Bridgewater, Bortles or Jonny Football to fall to the Raiders at number five. Sammy Watkins would be a good pick if not, then maybe try get McCarron in round two.

| What a game 49ers vs Seahawks was. That Richard Sherman post-game interview was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time!
Nice Super Bowl match up and hopefully Denver wins it.
