Liverpool fans acknowledge that Benitez's tactics don't produce football that is always as attractive as United's or Arsenal. Though I do maintain that we/ the Reds can play a bit. Thought the tactics were spot on today, couple of long ball goals did not do just to Liverpool's performance, as they were the better side throughout. Not getting too carried away as I still expect United to go on and win the league but it was a great day as a Liverpool fan and lovely to shut the Mancs up for a short while.

Yeah wait till we knock em out the fa cup, now that will be a cause for celebration

United will win the league anyway, 7 points (on the assumption their game in hand is won) is too big a gap to make up. Needs the Gobs to win all their games and United to lose 3 (or 2 and a draw, and so on), I doubt that'll happen.

Anyway, they're looking dodgy at the back, ripe for the picking at Wembley!

Liverpool by far the better team in all areas, thie midfield dominated ours and we didn't really create any real chances, the only thing that is slightly annoying is the manner of some of the goals we conceded...a hopeful long ball, penalty and a free kick.. Well Done Liverpool much deserved.

I may be wrong, but where Gerrard ran past is the area for disabled supporters...so there were probably alot of Liverpool fans in there, that's if that's the same area you referring to.
