| Quote: Roddy B "What do Citeh fans think of the Agger rumours?
He's a class player despite never ever getting any praise from other supporters or the media. His biggest problem has been his injuries, with one of those injuries being a back injury that was on/off, which is worrying if you're a Citeh fan. He's a good defender, stupidly confident on the ball and he's a big personality. I'd be gutted if he left because I feel him and Skrtel could be formidable, but if the rumoured £25m comes in, it would be hard to say no to that kind of money for an injury prone soon-to-be-28 year old, even if he is one of our best players.'"
I'd be gutted if we lost Agger.

| Off to a pre-season game tonight. Wouldn't normally, but how often are Barcelona [sizeB[/size in Huddersfield?

I like Agger, he's a good defender. Certainly better than Savic

I've said on here I'm a big fan of Skrtel. He's had his moments, but generally he's a pretty complete defender. Quite quick, agile, tall, strong, decent on the ball and has a good attitude. His worst attributes are generally his set piece defending. As a defender, I'd say Skrtel is a better defender than Agger, Agger is better than him on set pieces, but Skrtel generally defends better in open play. Agger is more skilled and is more of a captain than Skrtel, but they'd make a class partnership if they get the nod this season (assuming Agger stays, which doesn't look likely).

nah, my mistake - I thought you meant the first monday of the season
bit like SL & Championship in a way I suppose - I enjoy any game from wherever or whichever league - in fact, the more I think about it the more I feel i'm beginning to reject the Prem just like the SL - there seems to much arrogance in both nowadays IMO

As a Liverpool fan I'd love them to be the regular pairing at centre back if they can both stay fit (again, assuming Agger stays.)
I think the two compliment each other very well and Agger is a classy player with the ball at his feet, but he'll end up at City I think.

| Bored of Barcelona and tiki-taka? Want their dynasty to end? Tough. I've seen the future in all it's magical-footballing-micro-pixie gloriousness and we've years of this to come yet.

I think the steward is just doing his job.
If they look to be doing nothing during a pitch invasion, then they'd be signing on next week.

Were they not the regular centre back pairing last year? I know Carragher still made some appearances but wasn't he basically 3rd choice?
