kevin nolan and jimmy bullard in the hull midfeild next season would be a tough midfeild battle to come up against 2 people who dont pull out of a tackle.
i would have thought that hull would be looking to strenghen there attack first though if they keep the same attack next season they may end up going down.

| Sturridge wants 55k per week!?! He's played 16 games and looks promising. He should be looking for regular 1st team football FFS, not 55k a week to sit in some reserves.

Cue Fraizer Campbell bids again, and they've also been linked to a bloke called Alassane playing in France. Think they should try a bid for Doyle too, myself. Very disappointed they don't seem interested in Huddlestone, personally. I just hope the Liam Miller and Kevin Nolan rumours aren't an indication of the extent of their ambition. They need to show a bit of commitment and spend some money on the squad, not just pick up what they can on the cheap.

hulls centre midfeild next season will be good if they get hold of nolan from newcastle.
nolan is a good player and is underestimated and bullard has impressed with every team he has played for in the premiership apart from when injured.
you could go for any number of players on loan, danny welbeck on a season loan or franko di santo from chelsea or even carlos vela from nal or all of them if hull feel ambitious

They have signed a French player this morning, can't remember his name, defender I think. Nolan would be a good signing I think but Miller would be an awful one. I could see Utd letting Campbell leave or Wellbeck go on loan.
If City don't spend some decent cash they will be down without a doubt.

Would be a huge mistake IMO. Would shatter the wage structure for someone who more than likely won't play enough games and is a shadow of the player he was. If they were going to gamble on someone for that much money they should go for someone with less baggage/risk, and if they're willing to gamble on a striker with an injury record I'd prefer them to have a cheeky bid for Ashton.

Mouyokolo IIRC, supposedly quite fancied by a few clubs, including Arsenal. Miller I agree, it was quite depressing to even see them linked to him. Not even considered good enough for championship club, I can't for the life of me think why they think he'd be good enough for the premiership all of a sudden. Still don't think they're quite embracing the 'we are a premier league club' with enough conviction, one eye firmly pointed at the championship IMO. Think Campbell's all but guaranteed to be off, Brown reckons Sunderland (assuming Bruce goes), Stoke and Fulham. Could all swing on whether he prioritises club standing over first team action and how he feels about his previous spell at City.
More than likely. There are 1 or 2 potentially decent bargains on the market at City's level I reckon. Brunt's another one, supposedly priced around £3m, they should getting their name in the hat. The Polish right back they've been linked to looks like he could be a good choice if they get him.
