Onto tomorrow there's a horse running I've been following this season and will give it one last chance.

Alan Bailey's Granny Mcphee goes in the 4.15 at Yarmouth, it ran well in a race last year finishing 5th to Apple Charlotte (a decent horse this year) in a race that's thrown up loads of winners, this must be one of only one or two from that race that hasn't won yet.

Back up to 7f and on slightly easier ground tomorrow (which I think it prefers) so I'll be giving it another chance and investing e/w.

I think its a dead cert but half of any transfer fee goes to Den Hague so we are asking over the odds for him.

I didn't see the race. What happened?

He went into the final 3 furlongs in 2/3rd place after been up near the front from the start and the Horse just dropped and dropped further back and eventually finished the Race a long distant last!...

Well my last two have been non-runners with Granny Mcphee being withdrawn, did notice that day though that Alan Bailey who only has a small string and few runners nowadays had a 100/1 second a couple of races before Granny Mcphee was supposed to go, will still back the horse next time it runs.

Just a double for me tomorrow with Sir Michael Stoute's Dancourt in the 4.30 at Sandown, won a pretty competitive little handicap last time comfortably and the second horse Dingaan has franked the form by winning next time up.

The other is a rare dip into the jumps (don't usually bother with it this time of year even though I'm more a jumps man than flat) anyway Agglestone Rock in the 4.20 at Uttoxeter could have any amount in hand, looks to be about 20lb ahead of the handicapper to me.
