Saw that earlier, it seems the powers that be at clubs like Sevilla, Valencia and Atlético seem to think that they should be able to catch up at the top almost instantly and don't seem prepared to give people time. Vicious circle.

And its only thanks to Monchi's influence that he's been kept on at all. Unfortunately I think Jiminez, as long as he continues with a rather more conservative style of play, will always be living in the shadow of Juande Ramos who won trophies and played attractive football.

bad news for a certain someone on here. big story in this morning's paper that if (when) perez gets in he's going to bring in pellegrini from vila-real as his new manager.

Pellegrini seems to be the front runner and IMO would be an excellent choice - So I'm sure Florentino will find a reason to snub him and choose someone else. Maybe if he asks Arsene Wenger for the 900th time he might say yes.

and don't forget kaka is going to sign this coming week. i was a bit unsure but this week he re-iterated for the 273rd time that he's happy at milan and wants to finish his career there, so it's nailed on. |

Took my car in for it's MOT today at a mates work and while I was waiting, two fellas were speaking about Madrid and Ronaldo. One of them said Ronaldo to Madrid in exchange for Snjeider, VDV and Higuian plus £20m to Man Utd. 
Tbh wouldn't suprise me if VDV left soon. |

I would much rather see Ribery sign and someone like Ibrahamovich (Spelling) sign rather than just Ronaldo.
Will Garay come straight into a starting centre half spot of will Madrid have someone else lined up too?
