At least you've got a defence.
Vidic, Neville and Brown are out. O'Shea and Evans are very doubtful. It might end up been a defence of Rafael - Ferdinand - Evra - Fabio.

How many times have we gone into games against Europe's finest feeling like this? As far as I'm concerned, Madrid gaining any kind of form could be good, as they'll be billed as the favourites, although I think the game will be very tough, much tougher than some have made out, I'm quietly confident.

Many at the game today would have disagreed with you, he has had 5 years in charge and yes he has brought back silverware but i think he lacks the forward mentality that SAF has to go on and win the game if not by his squad choices, he builds around his defense rather than investing evenly if not ed around forwards as we now have a good backline.
I think this is very incorrect, apart from Torres, Mascherano and Skrtel he has made some very bad choices ala Babel, Lucas, Cavalieri, Degen and Voronin.
Id like to see Nemeth at some point this season to give us abit of speed and agility. |

Sh*te. United desperately need to get Evans fit. I would quite like to see Rafeal and Fabio in together but away in Milan is a bit harsh.... |

What is it with commentators and Shay Given?
Just watching MOTD now and he saved a shot from Benayoun that was straight at him, this was described as "fantastic" by the commentator 5 times. It's by no means the first time it has happened.
Is it because, as an Irishman, people generally expect he'll be a bit slow?

It's gonna be very tough to keep Inter out with the defenders you'll have on the park. However, I don't buy into this 'support English teams in Europe $h1te', being a liverpool fan I naturally want you to lose.....and heavily. I would expect the same about Liverpool from you??...... |

Yep definitely. I think Fletcher will play. He may even play at the back, with Park playing on the wing in front of Rafael or Fabio. He may even play CB with Ferdinand so that Evra doesn't have to swap position.
