As I said, things happen in football, sometimes it can even be embarrassing. Watching United go out in last year's CL group stage was 'embarrassing' for them, but it happens, they got over it and nearly won the league. I imagine Cavani will either get his move to a big club, or continue to dominate in Italy, proving himself on a more consistent level as a high level talent.

United fan logic:

I think it's merely a correction on a very low original contract.

PSG are sniffing around, they'll be offering similar to what he's just signed. Liverpool won't want to sell anyway, but they won't be able to justify his small wages when other clubs are offering so much more.

He's a class player despite never ever getting any praise from other supporters or the media. His biggest problem has been his injuries, with one of those injuries being a back injury that was on/off, which is worrying if you're a Citeh fan. He's a good defender, stupidly confident on the ball and he's a big personality. I'd be gutted if he left because I feel him and Skrtel could be formidable, but if the rumoured £25m comes in, it would be hard to say no to that kind of money for an injury prone soon-to-be-28 year old, even if he is one of our best players.
