I fail to see why it can't be implemented to stop shameful episodes like that, which has after all ended the title race when it should be wide open right now.'"
Last time I looked it was possible for Liverpool and Chelsea to still win the Premier League title.

This is my last post on the subject as its getting boring tbh.
Its a simple equation really....did the penalty have an impact on the contest ?
Undoubtedly it did, both in terms of the actual scoreline and the mental state of both sides players after. It got the crowd going, rejuvenated Utd and demoralised Spurs. Nobody can say what may have happened but from the game I watched Spurs looked comfortable, indeed Redknapp stated he expected us to go on and win by more. However, the penalty changed the course of the contest and it should never have been allowed to do so. That is why it stinks of corruption to me, not because it was criminal or sinister but because the official was influenced by more than the actual incident itself. That is why it was wrong and why technology has to come in to stop it happening again. For heavens sake, it is hard enough getting a win at Old Trafford at the best of times, we have had 2 wins taken off us there in the last 3 seasons through ridiculous officials.
Anyway thats enough, the game is over.

| Quote: Stirlingshire Saint "Absolutely appalled by that at OT yesterday. As a Spurs fan, I honestly felt the game was safe and Utd wouldn't score, I even thought we would have gone on to win by more. However it was clearly obvious that had Utd got one then it was going to be difficult. They didn't look like getting one prior to the most corrupt decision I have seen at a football match.
Webb yesterday effectively gave Utd the win and the title by an appalling decision. I honestly believe it smells of corruption it was that bad. Gomes clearly knocked the ball away, the ball changed direction for heavens sake. It wasn't a tough call to make, it was obvious. Just appalled at that, how on earth can anybody take this game seriously when decisions like that are made ? I turned the game off as soon as the penalty went in because it was clear what was coming afterwards, Webb should be made to make a public apology to Tottenham, Liverpool and the rest of the Premier League. Scandalous it was.'"
Wow. If you're lucky, no-one will put the above pile of crap in their sig. He got the decision wrong, it happens. Probably better to just accept that. Failing that, you could just cry about it.

| Quote: Stirlingshire Saint "I'm not convinced about the human error or the evening out theory.
Decisions are consistently made at the top clubs which have a negative influence on the opposition, the non giving of a penalty when it is blatant, the giving of a penalty when it isn't a penalty, a harsh sending off etc etc. These are undoubtedly influenced by the fear of Fergie, Wenger etc (but particularly at OT where Fergie picks and chooses his officials, one poor decision against Fergie and you don't ref at OT again) and this is corruption, not in the criminal sense but still a corrupt side to the game. It may be a conspiracy theory but it has ample evidence when it comes to Utd and Old Trafford. There is a whole list of incidents where the officiating has strangely helped Utd get a result at OT with Fergie.
It is about time technology is brought in so a side can question a pathetic decision such as yesterday.'"
So, once again, you ignore the fact that decisions go against the top clubs as well.
Yep. It's all just a shocking conspiracy to keep the little clubs down and hand United the title.

But again you've ignored the statistics which have proven otherwise. It is best you leave it, you're making yourself look really, really bitter.
Every time United get a decision in our favour it's, this is terrible, corruption, top four bias etc. Every time we get one against, Fergie opens his mouth and the focus is instead on his big gob. It's bull.
