No not heard that, though he did have problems with TNA (allegedly) the other week in Ireland over a pay dispute. Was chuffed to bits that he was nonetheless at Manchester a couple of days later though, possibly now my most valuable autograph.
Can't see him going back to be honest, e.g. because WWE made it clear in 2008 that they felt it was time for Flair's wrestling career to wind down there at Wrestlemania, but if he was offered a WWE return I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to step back into the ring for them.

If Flair was to return to WWE as a road agent, or part of the booking crew then it'd be a great move as his experience would be of benefit to the young guys.

| The Rock to guest host Wrestlemania?

| Quote: MadDogg "The Rock to guest host Wrestlemania?'"
Would be awesome but I think I read somewhere that he doesn't want anything to do with the business really these days. That's what supposedly caused the heat between him & Cena - Cena felt that Rock should come back from time-to-time to help out, i.e. give back to the business that gave him so much (his apparant view, not mine).

| Whats with all the old guys coming back wheezing and half collapsing all the time? I keep expecting the Warrior's music to come on and see him take five minutes and a resuscitation to reach the ring everytime a 'goodie' is in trouble.

Show some respect, these guys made wrestling. Joking apart I know what you mean, e.g. Lawler main-eventing? ATEOTD though some of the guys still have the ability to draw, e.g. no-one in WWE for the rest of 2011 will get the ovation that Diesel got at RR.
Enjoyed my first ever up-to-date episode of Impact last night. Can't help but wonder though if TNA was originally planning a MEM reunion before Booker and Nash returned to WWE?

Warrior (his LEGAL name btw, the f-ing nutter) is now a far right internet rambler.
Think Matt Hardy but with a Daily Mail slant.

it's actually Warrior Warrior! What a nutter. And the reason the old guys keep coming back, is because we haven't found anyone to replace the old guys yet! If Rock and Austin came back today, they'd be top guys for another 5 years.

Sad but true eh. So many factors I reckon e.g. the death of WCW and ECW means less spots for guys to get TV experience and develop, no territories like the old days, WWE pushing way too many guys before they're ready.
What really drives me nuts these days with WWE is the way they've totally devalued most of the belts. They push guys straight towards the Heavyweight titles (e.g. Kozlov, Sheamus, ADR) like the US title, Intercontinental etc aren't even there. Watched a great match the other night between Razor Ramon and Rick Martel from a 1994 Raw. They were trying to determine a new Intercontinental champion, so they had a battle royal where the two remaining guys would face each other for the title later on that night. You should have seen the reaction when Razor became IC champ - they will never get a reaction like that now, and IMO it's all down to been tunnel-visioned and believing that the only belts that matter are the heavyweight ones. It's bollox IMO - some of the greatest matches I've ever seen I've been for titles other then the heavyweight belts e.g. Bulldog v Bret, Perfect v Bret, Ramon v HBK, Dudleys v E&C v Hardy Boyz, RVD v Jeff Hardy, etc.
Really wish WWE would at least try to rebuild the meaning and value of their titles, but probably unlikely.
What also is frustrating is when they stall on bringing in guys because of money (e.g. Sting so many times over the years) yet they continue to waste cash on stupid f*****g films that no-one wants to see.

Yeah, it used to be that the IC belt was the stepping stone to the world title. You have a good run with the IC and they knew you'd be a good bet for the top belt.
I agree with your assessment that they push green guys towards the world title too soon, but I wouldn't count ADR in that. The guy has learnt his craft, he's had a career before WWE in Mexico. So he's one that I'd say is acceptable to fast track.
However, a lack of real competition as well as the loss of the territories do mean that guys who 15 years ago would be having to actually learn and develop their character before they even get considered for TV are now pushed into main events after about 3 months.

possibly, but it used to be someone new would get a very slow build to give him exposure and make sure the audience reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly hate them. So start them off low an build em up.
However some gimmicks don't work inthe mid card. See JBL, thats a main event level gimmick if you ever saw one. much like juan bradshaw layfield.
but you, you already knew that

| Talking about the territories, WCW, and ECW I was watching on that popular video site earlier "Paul Heyman tells Vince the truth"
He says to Vince in the ring about Vince Snr promising not to compete against the territories and Vince Jnr ignoring that, stealing ideas etc.
I think one of the problems is that the wrestlers aren't allowed to have an edge and character like Stone Cold, The Rock, Kurt Angle had, as they are censored due to PG. I love watching Mr Anderson in TNA as he's allowed to say the things he does as they work to TV14.
