I don't watch much Darts, but caught the end of the Taylor semi, and all I can say is what a complete Taylor truly is....



Isn't this a guy who many of his fans want to see rewarded with Sports Personality of the Year awards and other grandiose honours??....Well, after last night, I'd say the fellow should slide back to his local pub and learn how to play 'sport' (and I use that word in the loosest terms for Darts) instead of behaving like the jumped up prick he obviously is.

Got a feeling tomorrow will be Taylor's last game. If he hangs around another year or two he will not bow out as World Number 1 and with the extra weekend tournaments in 2013 do not think he wants the hassel of having to play so many smaller tournaments away from the big TV stage. Also he always gets the prime slot on any TV night and think MVG is the star attraction now and will not play 2nd fiddle or go on early or late as everyone else sometimes has to.

The PDC might be able to persuade him to do the Premier League (there seems resentment there if it can be overcome who knows) but after that I think it is game over.

I think Taylor will work his charm on MVG, slow him down, pick his nose, fart, mumble and grumble his way to victory.
Then he will say he is tired and that these young guys are getting better and are starting to push him.

Not sure there are enough "top" players to make the expansion justified.

In some ways I am glad Thornton has got in as winning a major gets rewarded but we will see if there is a freak winner of one in future years whether they will get in.

No one can really complain about being left out though and the likes of Pipe, Chisnall and Winstanley etc have been given a big incentive to step up to the next level in 2013 if there are going to be 10 at the top table and not just 8.
