| R.I.P Smokin Joe.
The first man to beat Ali and was a core member of the strongest era Heavyweight Boxing has ever had. He wasn't the tallest boxer but he had great power and energy in the ring. Will be missed by the sport.

| Saturday is going to be a top night of Boxing.
Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez
Timothy Bradley vs Joel Casamayor - Bradley returns to the ring after a 10 month absence. Was stripped of his WBC title for the Khan debacle, but defends his WBO title against former two division champion in Casamayor. Should be a mismatch. Casamayor is now 40years old and Bradley has a point to prove.
Breidis Prescott vs Mike Alvarado - Could well be the fight of the night, Alvarado is undefeated and they have 41 KO' from 58 fights between them. Prescott knocked out Khan a few years back but was poor in losing to McCloskey on points. Wouldn't be surprised if Alvarado won this one.
Luis Cruz vs Juan Carlos Burgos - Another top fight. Cruz is Puerto Rican and trains with Miguel Cotto, is undefeated and is seemingly a World Champion in waiting if he gets past this tough test. Burgos is a former world title challenger, defeated just once to Hazegawa on points, but I think his stepping up in weight may be a bit too early so back Cruz.
Looking forward to it - expect Pacquaio to win comfortably, not decided which round yet. Think there is a good chance it won't go the distance, leaning 9th/10th round at the moment but will make a concrete prediction after the weigh-in.

Everyone one knows it was robbery but the fact that Pacquiou has come out and said he won the fight clearly shows he's dishonest - quite similar to Lance Armstrong..

| Shocking decision. I wanted Pacquiao to win but even I'll admit that decision wasn't right. I had Marquez winning every round 2 - 6 and 2 rounds ahead in total.
Trend in Boxing at the minute is that the Champion needs to be knocked out to lose and this is pathetic. A boxing match should be judged on the 12 rounds, not who is the Champion/Challenger.
Mayweather will have enjoyed last night and hopefully will encourage him to get the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight arranged. Marquez fought the fight of his life and Pacquiao was being picked off with counter punches alot. If he fought like that against the best counter-puncher in Boxing then he'd probably be knocked out.

He's another Fraudley.
All the big tallk, all the size advantages and a heart like a pea.
All Pajkic had was to put his head down and come in swinging, yet Fury stood there like a startled rabbit and allowed him to do it.
Liked the look of Eubank Jr against an albeit limited opponent. Needs to work on his power though.

Why is he mad for wanting to fight either of the 2 best in his division? He didn't say he wanted to fight them right now did he? Nowt wrong with a bit of ambition even if it is wildly optimistic that he may a) get a fight with either of them and/or b) last any longer than 2-3 rounds with them.

Fury has a lot of flaws but lack of heart isn't one of them. His footwork (or lack of) is his biggest problem as well as his shocking conditioning. He needs to move to America and start training seriously with Steward and stop pi55in around with Huey and Phil Fury.
For me David Price is the better prospect BY FAR, however he's got the wrong promoter.
Eubank Jr looks the real deal and if he's anything like his old man he should develop some power. It wouldn't surprise me to see him in a British title fight in less than 12 months.
