| Quote ST_CONROY="ST_CONROY"No. You have to show potential. Rodgers has shown he can potentially be an excellent QB. Cassell and Orton haven't.
5 Worst Starting QB's
1st (worst)- Jamarcus Russell
2nd- Marc Bulger
3rd- Matt Cassell
4th- Derek Anderson/Brady Quinn
5th- Chad Henne'"
Cassel has led a team to a winning season, Rodgers hasn't. He took a team that was in the NFC championship game to a 5-11 record(I think)...great work

Thank fook for that I thought I was imagining that, but lets wait for the excuses that Cassell had better recievers even though Conroy goes on about how good Green Bays are

| I don't think it's hard to see why Conroy is so high on Rodgers at the moment. He is playing well and does show an awful lot of potential. His numbers are excellent so far this season. I don't buy the Cassell led the Pats to a winning season so is better argument. I would prefer Rodgers as my QB any day of the week over Cassell, and I think if people are honest, they would come to the same conclusion.
The one thing that infuriates me with him is how long he holds onto the ball though. THROW IT AWAY MAN. As much as I hate Eli, I thought he was excellent on Sunday, and one of the reasons is that he knew when to get rid of the ball. He avoided probably 4 sacks by throwing it away before the pressue got to him.

Winning record has nothing to do with it. (6-10 i think we were actually). It is the team around him. Frankly to expect a QB in his first year starting to get us to 13-3 or better would be ridiculous.
Cassell had a better team that Rodgers. Swap them around though and Rodgers would do better than Cassell on the Patriots team.
Rodgers was the ONLY good point of last season.

New England don't have better recievers. We have a better recieving corps.

Rodgers is already performing at a top 5 QB level, it is just the team around him, we'll our O-Line which is the problem. He has to sprint around or end up on his back every play.
I don't think i'd trade him for anybody. He is already playing the level of the best in the league, has potential to improve and is younger than alot.
I agree about holding the ball though. The only area which he lacks. He is trying to make plays to compensate for our pourous O-Line but sometimes he needs to throw it away.

Rodgers is far better than Cassell, I was merely picking up the fact that you say Cassel is rubbish yet lead a team to a good fecord which means he cant be that bad

I'd be tempted to push Henne out and Edwards/Fitzpatrick in.

| It is almost certain Mark Tauscher is out injured for us this week which means Allen "Can't Block For S**T" Babre is going to play RT. Whoever the Dallas LDE or LOLB is will have a field day.

It may be DeMarcus Ware? Or they could switch him round to attack him. Is he really that bad?

Yep he is terrible. He is a massive reason we are 4-4. He just can't block. He is probably at fault for at least 50% of our sack total.
