Carrick was awful, $hite penalty and idiot ideas like attempting back heel passes in the 94th minute when we're chasing a goal. ![]()
I'm not really sure what Fergie was playing at tonight with that midfield playing Anderson wide left, Carrick in the middle and two players on the right wing in Giggs and Park who were both awful (although giggs came into the game in the second half), then to take the only ony midfielder with pace off for Valencia (who played well when he came on) and move Park over to the left was a joke. Whats wrong with playing Tosic on the left? He'd have got at the Burnley defence and i'm sure between him and Evra we'd have undone them.
I really do pray that we start too get the team selections right or we can kiss our fourth league title goodby in time for christmas.
Oh and Capello please stay away from our matches because everytime you turn up to watch Owen he has a mare

Yep he did and played two wingers on the right  i can understand why he kept Park on the pitch as he hasn't had a full pre season but my god he was GASH tonight. I think we just lacked pace and fitness in the midfield. I just hope he goes with Valencia, Fletcher, Anderson/Carrick/scholes and Tosic on saturday as Giggs has looked poor for the last two games, Park is not fit at all.
Full credit to Burnley though they played very good football at times in the style of West Brom last season but seem to have a defence that can cope with sustained attack from the opposition, the ammount of times we were restricted to shots from outside of the box was unreal and it seemed every shot had a defender magnet on it as someone always managed to get in the way. |
