| Played my first university american football game today, and it's the first time in over 2 years that Staffordshire Stallions have lost a regular season game. We went in with only 6 linemen healthy, 2 of whom were rookies, a new QB, 2 rookie RBs, and a very inexperienced defence. To make it worse, Hallam used the damn Double Wing offence, which is particularly annoying for me as a Cornerback, as they passed it about 5 times the whole game. We just got tired and injured in the end, (Lose 1 linebacker to asthma, another to an ankle injury, a running back to ankle injury and a few more others)
One highlight though was putting a reciever at DE/OLB and letting him wreak havoc, if we can teach him how to play there, could be a player of the year candidate.

| Wow, way to go Chargers! The pick with about 3 minutes left was the game, or so I thought. Massive defensive stand with the help of a holding penalty, then Philip Rivers took over. Amazing. Vincent Jackson is going to get paid big in the summer.

Won't Tim Tebow be in the 2010 draft ? If so he'll be gone quick.

Yeah he will be.
He'll go high simply on name factor (most probably to Jacksonville) but he has little experience playing under centre and as a passer he isn't very accurate.
If he plays QB he'll be poor but he could play Wildcat, FB or he could convert to WR/TE like Matt Jones did.
Jake Locker
Jimmy Clausen
They are the two best QB's IMO.
However you then have these guys who are also good and better at QB than Tebow
Colt McCoy
Sam Bradford
Ryan Mallett
Tebow will definately go high, because of his name, but if he is asked to be just a QB i don't think he will succeed, TE/FB/WR he could have excellent potential. I wouldn't touch him in the first or second round if you want him as QB, and late first to early second if you see him playing elsewhere.

How much do you reckon Chad Ochocinco will get fined for trying to bribe the referee ?

I'm living in the hope that we can win! Either way i'd never predict a defeat for us.
Rodgers has played well against Dallas previously and when he came in for Favre.
If we can get Tauscher and Cliffy to be playing we could be OK, if Babre has to come in Ware will have a field day.
Defence we can cope with you. C-Wood will handle Austin. Harris will look after Williams. The issue will be Witten. I expect us to play alot of nickel to make sure we don't end up with Kampan covering him.
24-21 to GB.

What is daft about that? Unless your saying Rodgers doesn't have the potential to be as good as Brady. I'm not saying he will be but it is entirely possible that he could be.
After every great QB they say nobody will be as good. They would have said that about Bart Star, about Joe Montana, Steve Young, Dan Marino, Favre etc.
